Last night I watched: The Art of the Steal (2013 film). What stood out in the film, was on particular scene where Kurt Russel, who plays the part of a modern day art thief, is held at gunpoint by a man wielding a "pirates" gun ... who also happens to have one of his eye's patched. In fact, the word "Pirate" cropped up in the scene. So this stands out due to the following info from my recent January 2 post, Brown Blob:
Coming back now to the films title, we have another "Art of Steel" to consider-- the comic character Superman, otherwise known as "the man of steel". And it fits, when considering the following from my recent January 2 post, Main Formula:
Returning now to Superman's creators, note from their wiki pages:
As well, Joe Shuster's date of birth and death generates a "July 10, __, 30/Increments of 10 Date Sequence" pattern-cluster... made that much more meaningful given that the letter J (aka "Jay") is the 10th letter in the alphabet. So to now bridge the July 20 gap... using the formula, we arrive at:
And now for the name "June Byers" -- a cryptic "June buyers" that connects to "June Cash" who factors in my last two posts, note these excerpts:
It was a woman who designed the reverse side of the coin, and so who's to say that it's not a female eagle carrying the olive branch and the male eagle with his hatchlings, after all, both take turns building the nest, sitting on the egg and feeding the hatchlings. Of course the "olive" branch is the symbol of peace... a word used as a name for "girls". On the coins wiki page is one of Audubon's paintings of an eagle feeding on a catfish... they are predominantly "fishers" after all... which stands out given the recent "Fisher" pattern-cluster, note for instance the title of yesterdays post, Stone Chicken Fischer (UPDATE). And so it appears that we're on the "wright" track.
And now let's move along to the film. On reading it's wiki page, I kept my eyes open for anything that connects with the theme of this post so far, and thats when I came to this excerpt:
Another thing that just occurred to me, is that Kurt Russel wears an eyepatch in a series of films he acted in!!
- Beware! The Blob (1972) as Hobo Wearing Eyepatch
- "eyepatch" as found in the above is strategic... as is the eyepatch that my granddaughter has had to wear for a number of years in trying to correct her "Lazy eye"... the eyepatch in her case is designed to "shut"off the good eye in order to force the lazy eye to gain strength.
- And of course eyepatches ... one associates with pirates.
It's interesting that "Stahl" should crop up... obviously related to our modern word "stall", the etymology of which is "a standing". Other words somewhat related to stall are seen in two of my post titles over this last week, Bog Down and Barr. Note from my January 2 post, Brown Blob:
- steel (n.) ...German Stahl), related to *stakhla "standing fast... be firm" (see stay)
- steal (v.) ...from PIE *stel-,... variant of *ster- (3) "to rob, steal."
- Del Close... his surname is an addition to the "Name that's a Word" pattern-cluster. There are two definitions of "close"... so, we can only assume that something is "close to closing".
- reminds me now of Trish MacGregor, another key player in the inner twin world's Starr Family Production, whose maiden name is Janeshutz-- a cryptic "Jane shuts"
Of course all this connects with "eyepatch". A definite"Stall/Bog/Bar/Close/Shutz//Eyepatch Theme" pattern-cluster.
Coming back now to the films title, we have another "Art of Steel" to consider-- the comic character Superman, otherwise known as "the man of steel". And it fits, when considering the following from my recent January 2 post, Main Formula:
I used the group as an example to illustrate a "curve ball" that the inner twin world can throw, and so we need to be prepared at any moment to veer away from the usual "formula" that requires us to investigate notable persons who die in ie 1999 and 2000 (and other years having 3 identical numbers at the end). The group of 3 are listed in the order above on the Deaths section of the January 28 wiki page and above 1999, AND all three are "cartoonists"-- and so generating a "Cartoonist" pattern-cluster ... and in a "timely" fashion as you are now able to see, which is another inner twin signature. For the record, note from the wiki pages of three cartoonists:
- 1996 – Burne Hogarth, American cartoonist and author (b. 1911)
- 1996 – Jerry Siegel, American author, illustrator, co-created Superman (b. 1914)
- 1998 – Shotaro Ishinomori, Japanese author and illustrator(b. 1938)
Hogarth's birthday is another addition to the recent "December 25" and "Christmas Theme" pattern-clusters. And, we have a "December 25, January 25, __/ 25 Day, Month Sequence" pattern-cluster. This is a prompt for us to venture to the February 25 wiki page where we then use the formula to arrive at:
- Burne Hogarth (December 25, 1911 – January 28, 1996)
- Shotaro Ishinomori (January 25, 1938 – January 28, 1998)
- Jerome "Jerry" Siegel (October 17, 1914 – January 28, 1996)
- 1998 – W. O. Mitchell, Canadian author and playwright (b. 1914)
- 1999 – Glenn T. Seaborg, American chemist ... Nobel Prize laureate (b. 1912)
- William Ormond Mitchell (March 13, 1914 – February 25, 1998)
Mitchell's birthday expands a cluster found in my January 2nd post:
- Glenn Theodore Seaborg (April 19, 1912 – February 25, 1999)
Coming back now to the comic "Superman", and it's other creator: writer Joe Shuster. The name Shuster is an addition to the "Name Becomes Word With A Letter Removed" pattern-cluster... remove the 's' from Shuster to get "shuter" (a cryptic combination of shooter/shutter). The etymology of Shuster is "shoe maker", a name that also stands out given the following from yesterdays post, Stone Chicken Fischer (UPDATE):
- "March 4, _, _, _, _, 9(x3), _, _,12(x3), 13(x3), 14, 15,/ Date Sequence"
2000 – Jeff MacNelly, American cartoonist (September 17, 1947 – June 8, 2000)He's not just any cartoonist, he's the creator of the popular comic strip Shoe. And note from my recent December 27 post, Lion Cook Ocean:
So a "Shoe" pattern-cluster is well in the works... and keep in mind that Soulier passed away less than two weeks ago, on Christmas Day!! Jeff MacNelly's birthday/date of death are additions to pattern-clusters found in my previous post:
- Léon-Raymond Soulier... his surname, Soulier, is also the French word for "shoe".
As you can see, September 11 had cropped up a whopping 4 times!! AND, we have a fifth when considering the "Art of the Steal" films Release Date:
- "September 11(x4), 12, 13, 14, __, __, 17(x2), 18, 19/ Date Sequence"
- "June 6, 7, 8(x2), 9/ date sequence "
Everything is perfectly timed, including my having watched the film last night!!
Release dates
- 11 September 2013 (TIFF)
Returning now to Superman's creators, note from their wiki pages:
It occurred to me just now, that they have the same initials, J.S., a cryptic "Jay Ess" that translates further into "her jay essence". One must leave no stone unturned when it comes to the fine art of deciphering the inner twin worlds "cryptic" way of speaking to us. The "Jay" in context of "thief", reminds me that the bird is often considered a thief, and so I googled the question : Are Blue Jays Thieves. My search brought me to a site and excerpt:
- Jerome "Jerry" Siegel (October 17, 1914 – January 28, 1996)
- Joseph "Joe" Shuster (July 10, 1914 – July 30, 1992)
painting of jays robbing another birds nest, by John Audubon |
Slings and Arrows: Why Birders Love to Hate Blue Jays
John Audubon painted Jay's in "robber mode", such as the one at right: stealing eggs from the nests of others. Note from Audubon's wiki page:
- Looking far back, I blame the patron saint of birdwatchers, John James Audubon, for the blue jay’s image problem.
His date of death together with Jerry Siegel's date of death, are additions to a cluster found in my previous post:
- John James Audubon (April 26, 1785 – January 27, 1851)
We now have a "January 27, 28(x2), 29, 30/ Date Sequence" pattern cluster.
- Paul Misraki (January 28, 1908 – October 29, 1998)
- William McKinley (January 29, 1843 – September 14, 1901)
- William Payne Stewart (January 30, 1957 – October 25, 1999)
As well, Joe Shuster's date of birth and death generates a "July 10, __, 30/Increments of 10 Date Sequence" pattern-cluster... made that much more meaningful given that the letter J (aka "Jay") is the 10th letter in the alphabet. So to now bridge the July 20 gap... using the formula, we arrive at:
Using the formula as per usual brings us to only "one" who died during a year consisting of 3 identical numbers at the end. Sandra Gould's birthday is an addition to the "Targeting Family Deaths" pattern-cluster, given that my mother passed away on July 23rd. As for the rest, I included them due to the "curve ball" aspect: cryptic meaning behind their names, another inner twin strategy that I explain in the formula post. It wasn't until after investigating their wiki pages that I became aware of the "January 3, 4, 5/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster generated by three of their birthdays. As for the "curve ball" in the name Lala Mara, there's the cryptic twinning of "la-la"-- the French "la" being feminine and so a reference to the inner twin "matriarchal" world. As for her surname Mara, the etymology dictionary brings up one particular definition that seems to fit:
- 1998 – June Byers, American wrestler (May 25, 1922 – July 20, 1998)
- 1997 – M. E. H. Maharoof, Sri Lankan politician ( 5 January 1939 – 20 July 1997)
- 1999 – Sandra Gould, American actress (July 23, 1916 – July 20, 1999)
- 2002 – Michalis Kritikopoulos Greek footballer (3 January 1946 – 20 July 2002)
- 2003 – Nicolas Freeling, English author (3 March 1927 – 20 July 2003)
- 2004 – Lala Mara, Fijian politician (4 January 1931 – 20 July 2004)
Why this definition stood out, has mostly to do with "mickle" that's a cryptic combination of "nickel and Michael"... and nickel is a metal and coin as well. AND, the above etymology is similar to that of my first name:
- more (adj.) Old English mara "greater, more, stronger, mightier," used as a comparative of micel "great" (see mickle), from Proto-Germanic *maizon- (source also of Old Saxon mera, Old Norse meiri, Old Frisian mara, Middle Dutch mere, Old High German mero, German mehr), from PIE *meis- (source also of Avestan mazja "greater," Old Irish mor "great," Welsh mawr "great," Greek -moros "great," Oscan mais "more"), from root *me- (3) "big.
The nickel isn't that great though... only 5 cents. Note the etymology:
- May fifth month, early 12c., from Old French mai and directly from Latin Majus, Maius mensis "month of May," possibly from Maja, Maia, a Roman earth goddess (wife of Vulcan) whose name is of unknown origin; possibly from PIE *mag-ya "she who is great," fem. suffixed form of root *meg- "great"
- nickel (n.) ... German Kupfernickel, literally "copper demon," from Kupfer (see copper) + Nickel "demon, goblin, rascal" ... compare English Old Nick "the devil;" see Nicholas)
And now for the name "June Byers" -- a cryptic "June buyers" that connects to "June Cash" who factors in my last two posts, note these excerpts:
- 2003 – June Carter Cash, American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and actress (June 23, 1929 – May 15, 2003)
- 2003 – Johnny Cash, American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and actor (February 26, 1932 – September 12, 2003)
And do note the last one... another Cash... a "Cash(x2)" pattern-cluster. So what are the chances of husband and wife cropping up like this?!Quite amazing eh!! And now we come to the surname Gould, and to its etymology: Gould: gold. As you know, Gold and Steel have something in common-- they are both metals, and so we have a "Metal Theme" pattern-cluster. And since "cash" also factors in, I did another search and found one gold coin of particular interest, note from the wiki page of The American gold eagle, an official gold bullion coin of the United States:
- The reverse design, by sculptor Miley Busiek, features a male eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing a female eagle and her hatchlings.
Feeding on catfish and other various fishes. Painted by John James Audubon |
And now let's move along to the film. On reading it's wiki page, I kept my eyes open for anything that connects with the theme of this post so far, and thats when I came to this excerpt:
- Robbie Collin of The Daily Telegraph rated it 2/5 stars and called it a "contrived crime caper" that "borrows from the Guy Ritchie stylebook"
And so the pattern-cluster expands:
- Guy Stuart Ritchie (born 10 September 1968)
It just occurred to me that the two gaps are the "middle" of the month-- 14 days on either side.
- "September 10, 11(x4), 12, 13, 14, __, __, 17(x2), 18, 19/ Date Sequence"
Another thing that just occurred to me, is that Kurt Russel wears an eyepatch in a series of films he acted in!!
