The Deaths in 2014 site lists under February 19:
Valeri Kubasov, 79, Russian cosmonaut (Soyuz 6, Apollo-Soyuz Test Project/Soyuz 19, Soyuz 36)Note from his wiki page:
Valeri Nikolayevich Kubasov (Russian: Вале́рий Никола́евич Куба́сов; 7 January 1935 – 19 February 2014)His birthday is an addition to the "Off By One" pattern-cluster, as in one day off from my stepson's birthday. Note this excerpt from his wiki page:
Kubasov had cheated death twice during his space career. He was part of the crew that was originally intended to fly Soyuz 2, which was found to have the same faulty parachute sensor that resulted in Vladimir Komarov's death on Soyuz 1 and was later launched without a crew. Later, he was grounded for medical reasons before the Soyuz 11 flight, which killed the crew when the capsule was accidentally depressurised by a faulty valve. So, Soyuz 2 and Soyuz 11 resulted in deaths!! It wasn't luck that enabled him to cheat death twice, this was definitely the inner twin world's influence. There is one other thing... yesterday's post mention of "soylent" (as in soylent green)... there aren't too many words cropping up with "soy" as a prefix, so the two were also likely planned... so why? Hmmm "so y"!!
