Mavis Gallant RIIP: Green Water, Green Sky...Soylent Green

The Deaths in 2014 site lists under February 18th:
Mavis Gallant, 91, Canadian writer, Companion of the Order of Canada (1993)
She's Canadian born,  as am I, and so enough to warrant further investigation.   Note the following from her wiki page:
Mavis Leslie de Trafford GallantCC, née Young (11 August 1922 – 18 February 2014)
As you can see, we have two sets of "twin" numbers in her date of birth, both additions to the "Identical Number Sequence" pattern-cluster.  Note the following regarding her day of birth:

  1. August 11 is the 223rd day of the year (224th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar.
Since her year of birth, 1922, wasn't a leap year, she was born on the 223rd day of the year, hence an addition to the "Off By One" pattern-cluster... as in one off from the 222nd day of the year.
There was one other thing that stood out from Mavis' wiki page:

Gallant has written two novels, Green Water, Green Sky (1959)
I haven't read this book, butt in my line of thinking, green water and green sky doesn't sound good... sounds sickly and polluted to me... now had the green referred to "grass", the associated imagery would be much different.  What we have specifically,  is an addition to the "Colour" pattern-cluster, and keep in mind, that my Grand daughter's middle name is Greenlee, which essentially means "green field", and not that I want to bring it up because I don't like the 1973 film, "Soylent Green", but in a conversation on Monday, my friend had mentioned this film.   Since the film was taken from a book, "Make Room, Make Room", written by Harry Harrison, it's worth venturing to the books wiki page:
So note all the "doubles": in the name Harry Harrison, the publisher "Double" day and the twin '66' in the year.  Keep in mind as well that his name is an addition to the prominent "Harry/Heir/Hair/Hare..." pattern-cluster.   There is cryptic meaning to all of this, which you can learn more about by reading my last two posts... it's a beginning anyway.
