Three George's passing away within two days (Jan 20 & 21) is a resurgence and addition to the "George/Farmer" pattern-cluster:
- Georgi Slavkov, 55, Bulgarian footballer, heart attack.[5]
- George C. Wortley, 87, American politician, United States Representative from New York (1981–1989).[7]
- George Scott, 84, Scottish-born Canadian wrestler, lung cancer.[16]
Important in this, is to realize the etymology of the name to mean : "Farmer/Earth worker". Out of curiosity mostly, I googled "George Botanist", only to be shocked by the first leads that cropped up:

On 5 January 1932, while hunting game in the hills near Tengchong, the town wherein Forrest traditionally set up his base, he suffered a massive heart attack and died instantly.As to George Gardner's wiki page, this is the only thing that stood out:
