The Deaths in 2014 site records the death of Anjali Devi on January 13
Her surname stands out due to it's etymology re http://www.behindthename.com/name/devi:
That's interesting, Devi was a "black goddess"... this connects no doubt with the "black madona's found throughout Europe. No doubt Devi is related to "Dios" and "Zeus"... who were all likely "Devi" in disguise... after all, the Patriarchal Order wanted to make a slave of women and so a Goddess would simple give them a sense of empowerment and entitlement... and equality, something the Patriarch doesn't want even today, for the simple reason that we are the perfect slave and tool to placate males in our population that they want to control. Well, that's my theory... and there's only one catch 22 to this situation-- the inner twin world are fighting on the side of women... after all, the more freedom women have, the better chance to have a good educated and strong mind and so, the best chance for her offspring to do the same... all of which equals a better world... and "Big Bread Winner Hog!! (see previous post).
Note as well the similarity to "Devi" and "Devil"... no doubt a reason for this-- like the Patriarchal way of trying to extinguish and soil the sacred feminine.
As to Devi being a "death" goddess is hardly the case in "fertility cult" terms, the egg does not "kill" the sperm, albeit it becomes forever changed (hence dying to its old self anyway)... as does her egg. This is nature's way of creating an earthly "eternity"-- essence if past individuals living on through their children... and a small view on greater things to come. We can believe in a greater eternity that awaits for each of us, for the simple reason that it is mapped out for us in a smaller way in the very fabric of our own time... it is the road map set in place for us to follow... this is the way.
Her surname stands out due to it's etymology re http://www.behindthename.com/name/devi:
Derived from Sanskrit देवी (devi) meaning "goddess". Devi is the Hindu mother goddess who manifests herself as all other goddesses.Note the following etymology :
Kali a name of Devi, the Hindu mother-goddess, in her death-goddess aspect, 1798, from Sanskrit kali, literally "the black one," fem. of kalah "blue-black, black," from a Dravidian language. Also taken as the fem. of kala "time" (as destroyer). She is portrayed as black-skinned, blood-smeared, and wearing a necklace of skulls and a girdle of snakes.Note the following from her wiki page:
deva (n.) "god, good spirit" in Hindu religion, from Sanskrit deva "a god," originally "a shining one," from *div- "to shine," thus cognate with Greek dios "divine" and Zeus, and Latin deus "god" (Old Latin deivos); see Zeus.
Fem. form devi is used for "goddess," also (with capital D-) for the mother goddess in Hinduism. Hence, also, devadasi "temple dancing girl," literally "female servant of a god," from dasi "slave girl." Also Devanagari, the formal alphabet of Sanskrit writings, perhaps originally "divine city script," fromnagara "city."
Anjali Devi (Telugu: అంజలీదేవి) pronunciation (help·info); 24 August 1927 – 13 January 2014) was a Telugu & Tamil actress and producer. Her birthday is an addition to the "Off By One" pattern-cluster, as in one off from my grand daughters birthday.
