Hee-Haw, Cuff, Tap, Stone and Boot from Home

 Recently added to Wikipedia’s Deaths in 2025 site is:

Gailard Sartain, 81, American actor (The Buddy Holly StoryMississippi BurningHee Haw)

That he played a part in the tv show Hee Haw, is another addition to the recent “Donkey Theme” pattern cluster.  Recent as in my previous June 18  and June 17 posts, so the cluster began two days before Gaillard died.  Note the titles of my last two posts:

Note from Gailard’s wiki page;

Gailard Lee Sartain, Jr. (September 18, 1943[1] – June 19, 2025)

Keep in mind that he died on the anniversary of this blog. On the Hee Haw wikipedia page, three of the names mentioned in the sidebar immediately stand out, note their info:

The first three died on birthdays of my immediate family— December 18 is the birthday of my older sister; November 23 is the birthday of my mother; February 22nd is the birthday of my grandson.  Their names stood out due to the word found  in each… as per the “Word in Name” pattern cluster , that gives us “tap”, “cuf”, “stone’, and “man”, … AND, the first three have something in common — they are used to describe a “hit” of sorts ie “to cuff someone on the side of the head”, “a light tap on the butt”, “to stone someone”.  The “stone man”, also reminds me of David … as in David who slew Goliath with a stone.
  • cuff(v.2) "to strike with or as with the open hand,"
  • tap(v.1) c. 1200, tappen, "give a tap, strike lightly but audibly," either native or from...or in part from Old French taper "tap, rap, strike
  • stone(v.) c. 1200, "throw stones at, pelt with stones,"
Other names in Hee Haw wiki page sidebar also stands out:
October has great meaning … simply read my recent posts. There are a lot of notable persons mentioned on the Hee Haw Wikipedia page, so I picked out the ones whose names seemed to jive:

  • Merle Ronald Haggard (April 6, 1937 – April 6, 2016)
  • Boots” Homer Randolph III (June 3, 1927– July 3, 2007)

Note the cryptic “boot home haggard”.  Well THAT strikes close to home— I was booted from my home, leaving me haggard!! Their dates of birth are also meaningful.  Haggard died on his birthday, an addition to the “Birthday Blues” pattern cluster

Although the inner twin world often include humour in their cryptic communication, I don’t get the ultimate sense that this is a laughing matter.
