One of the two listed so far under todays date, December 11, on Wikipedia’s Deaths in 2024, stands out:
- Khalil Rahman Haqqani (1 January 1966 – 11 December 2024)58, politician, assassination.
His birthday being an addition to a recent major cluster, expanding it into a: “January 1(x2), …, 11(x2), __, 13, 14,…,17, __19(x3) 20, 21, 22, 23, …, 27, 28, 29/Date Sequence” pattern cluster.
At this point, I reiterate the relevance of January dates to me personally—within my own immediate family, many are born on January mostly on odd days except my January 8 (my step son), January 15 (x2–my son and now ex spouse of 27 years), January 19 (brother), January 21 (daughter), January 23 (my grandson). A joke for years (since I was not born in January), was that even the dog was born in January.

Does not our fingernails and the flesh beneath being the same pinkish colour no matter ethnicity indicate the true evolutionary purpose of greater melanin in the basal epidermis is for strong flexible skin that in turn protects against moisture loss?
It’s a perfectly good hypothesis! Fingernails already serve to prevent water loss, so pigmentation is not necessary as it would be an extra cost on the evolutionary scheme of things. Higher pigment in basal epidermis adds strength and in turn protects against moisture loss while maintaining necessary flexibility. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found black people were the least likely to get sunburned. White people, on the other hand, had the highest rates of sunburn. Consider as well that white people blister far more than black people… and consider as well, that blistering is a means of preventing water loss?
