Ransom (POP Part 16)

Wikipedia’s Deaths in 2024 site is often updated over the course of a week, so I tend to go back a few days to look for new additions.  The beauty of the site, is that it recognizes your search for at least a few days and so you can easily tell new additions that are a lighter blue as compared to a darker blue of those you’ve investigated.  Such was the case with Phil Hancock, note from his wiki page:

  • Phil Ransom Hancock(October 30, 1953 – December 12, 2024) 71, American golfer, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
So what are the chances of THAT?!  His birthday being an addition to a cluster in my previous post, and so we now have an

“October 24, 25(x3), 26(x2), 27, 28, __, 30/Date Sequence” pattern cluster

This is strategically designed to prompt us to venture to the October 29 wikipedia page where we then apply the formula as per usual — as earlier presented, and so we arrive at:

  • 1999  Greg (Michel Régnier 5 May 1931 – 29 October 1999) author, illustrator
  • 2000  Carlos Guastavino (5 April 1912 – 29 October 2000) pianist, composer

So, we now have a “__, April 5, May 5, __/5th Day, Month Sequence” pattern cluster in the works.

Of course the fifth day has been particularly meaningful this month on Wikipedia’s Deaths in 2024 site, as per the  following:

We should then turn to the above names, to see what is being communicated.  Well, the word “ransom” is obvious enough!!  Need I say more?!
