The Mis-Education of the Negro

Continuing from my previous post, note from the wiki page of  The Mis-Education of the Negro:

He challenges his readers to become autodidacts and to "do for themselves", regardless of what they were taught
I googled autodidacts and discovered that it means “self taught” and I found a site, “List of Autodidacts”, where the first one mentioned stands out:
Charlotte Perkins Gilman was a feminist writer, lecturer, and thinker at the turn of the 20th century
She’s a woman for one... AND, her surname is very close to my stepson’s name, Gillman.

  • Charlotte Perkins Gilman (July 3, 1860 – August 17, 1935)
Her birthday is one off from July 4th... a notable day as this blogs Header informs:
On July 4th, 3 Of the first "5" US Presidents had died: Jefferson "5" hours before Adams, and Monroe "5" years later on the "55th" Independence Day.
Note from the wiki pages of notable persons mentioned on Gilman’s wiki page:
  • Frederic Beecher Perkins (27 September 1828 – 27 January 1899)
  • Isabella Beecher Hooker (February 22, 1822 – January 25, 1907)
  • Harriet Elisabeth Beecher Stowe (June 14, 1811 – July 1, 1896
  • Catharine Esther Beecher (September 6, 1800 – May 12, 1878)
  • Charles Walter Stetson (March 25, 1858– July 21, 1911)
  • Adrian John Ebell (September 20, 1840-April 10, 1877)
  • Grace Ellery Channing (December 27, 1862 – April 3, 1937)
  • Silas Weir Mitchell (February 15, 1829 – January 4, 1914)
  • Although it was not the first or longest of her works, without question Gilman's most famous piece is her short story "The Yellow Wallpaper", which became a best-seller of the Feminist Press. She wrote it on June 6 and 7, 1890
Clusters that emerge/expand:
  • “November 15, December 15, January 15(x2), February 15 ... July 15/ 15th Day, Month Sequence” pattern-cluster.
  •  “February 15, ..., __, 20, 21(x2), 22(4), 23(x2), 24/ Date Sequence” pattern-cluster
  •   And a “September 27, __, __, December 27, January 27/ 27th Day, Month Sequence” pattern-cluster
  • “January 15(x2), __, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 31/Uneven Day, Date Sequence” pattern-cluster
I’ll bridge one of the gaps— November 27... using the formula as per usual and taking into consideration the “one off” curve ball, we arrive at:
1999 – Yasuhiro Kojima (July 22, 1937 – November 27, 1999) wrestler/trainer
1999 – Alain Peyrefitte  (26 August 1925 – 27 November 1999) Fr Minister of Justice
1999 – Elizabeth Gray Vining (October 6, 1902 – November 27, 1999) author
2000 – Malcolm Bradbury (7 September 1932 – 27 November 2000) author
2000 – Uno Prii (February 28, 1924 – November 27, 2000) architect
2000 – Len Shackleton (3 May 1922 – 27 November 2000) footballer/journalist
2002 – Billie Bird (February 28, 1908 – November 27, 2002) American actress (b. 1908.
  • A “February 28(x2)” pattern-cluster.
  • “February 22, ... , May 22, __, July 22/ 22nd Day, month Sequence” pattern-cluster
