Quirx, Quarx, and Quax

The Deaths in 2018 site lists under
  • Dick Quax, 70, Dutch-born New Zealand athlete, Olympic silver medalist (1976), cancer
  • Theodorus Jacobus Leonardus Quax (1 January 1948 – 28 May 2018)
Note from his wiki page:
running 2:11.13 in his debut for 4th place at the Nike OTC Marathon in 1979, at that time the fastest debut marathon in history.
On the Nike OTC Marathon wiki page, one of the winners stands out:
1979Tony Sandoval and Jeff Wells (tie)
The surname Sandoval cropping up is an addition to the “Timely” pattern-cluster given that they surname cropped up in my earlier post today, note this excerpt:
  “Prefix “Sand” in Surname” pattern-cluster,
So not only an addition to the cluster, butt a new cluster: “Sandoval (x2)” pattern-cluster.   Note from his wiki page:
  • Anthony "Tony" B. Sandoval (born May 19, 1954)
Venturing to the Sandoval wiki page, note from the first one in the list:
AarΓ³n Sandoval, Mexican footballer
  • AarΓ³n Alexis Sandoval Ulibarri (born September 11, 1993)
Now THAT speaks volumes!!  Note the following info on other notable persons mentioned on Quax wiki page:
  • John Llewellyn Davies (25 May 1938 – 21 July 2003)
  • Adrian Blincoe (born 4 November 1979)
  • Josephus Maria Melchior Hermens (born 8 January 1950)
January 8th is also the birthday of my stepson.

As for the title, it’s a play on the CBC show Quirks and Quarks.
