My previous post left off with:

• 1777 – John Bartram (March 23, 1699 – September 22, 1777)  botanist, explorer
• 1999 – George C. Scott ( October 18, 1927 – September 22, 1999)  American actor, director, and producer 
• 2000 – Saburō Sakai (25 August 1916 – 22 September 2000) pilo
• 2001 – Fikret Kızılok  (November 10, 1946 – September 22, 2001)singer-songwriter

There are two ways we can go: follow George C. Scott and/or John.  So let's start with Scott.  His birthday stands out given this next excerpt from the post:

• 1996 – Timothy Leary (October 22, 1920 – May 31, 1996) author 

Their birthdays generate an "October 18, __, 22/Even Number Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.  
So bridging the October 20 gap we arrive at:

• John Mary "Jack" Lynch (15 August 1917 – 20 October 1999) 
• Robert Theodore Ammon (August 30, 1949 – October 20, 2001) 

Their birthdays stand out ... given that they are additions to a cluster found in my earlier posts today beginning with  White Cliffs and Gaslight, and so expanding it now into an:

• generates an "August 15, _, 17 ... 22, _, _, 25(x4), 26, 27, 28, 29(x2), 30, 31/ Date Sequence" pattern cluster. 

And so bridging the August 16 gap... and cutting to the chase we arrive at:

 John Stith Pemberton (July 8, 1831 – August 16, 1888

His birthday stands out... note from my earlier post today in this series, Witty May:

George Dewey Cukor (July 7, 1899 – January 24, 1983)
Joseph Ruttenberg, A.S.C. (July 4, 1889 - May 1, 1983) 

And so we now have a "July 4, _, _, 7, 8/Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.  Bridging the July 6 gap ... and cutting to the chase we arrive at:

• Barry Winchell (August 31, 1977 – July 6, 1999) 

And the cluster expands yet again:

•  August 15,16, 17 ... 22, _, _, 25(x4), 26, 27, 28, 29(x2), 30, 31(x2)/Date Sequence" pattern cluster.
