Carolina Hurricanes

Given the "5th Day" pattern-cluster in my previous post, I decided to venture back to The Deaths i 2017 site under April 5.  Note the following:

David Gove, 38, American ice hockey player (Carolina Hurricanes) and coach (Wheeling Nailers)

There's a cryptic phrase in his name: day see/sea go ove,   Note the etymology:

• opus (n.) ... Danish øve "to exercise, practice;"

So the phrase deciphers into "day see/sea go exercise", which makes sense when you consider the following from my previous post:

Randy Walker "Stretch" (April 8, 1968 – November 30, 1995)

Note from Gove's wiki page:

• David T. Gove (May 4, 1978 – April 5, 2017) 

His birthday stands out, given that it expands clusters found in my previous post, so we now have a:

• "May 4, 5...8...15... 19(x2), 20(x2). 21, ... 24, 25, 26/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster   
• "August 4, September 4(x2), October 4, _, December 4, January 4, _, March 4, _, May 4/ 4th Day, Month Sequence" pattern-cluster.
