Walter Wallmann RIIP: Man the Wall Ruler of the Army

The Deaths in 2013 site lists under September 21st:
Walter Wallmann, 80, German politician
Walter Wallmann is an addition to the "Alliteration" and the "Phrases in Names" pattern-clusters, hence warranting further investigation.   Note the following from his wiki page:
Walter Wallmann (24 September 1932 – 21 September 2013) was a German politician who has served as Lord Mayor of Frankfurt (1977–1986).[1]
Tomorrow is September 24th, hence this is an addition to the "Off By One" pattern-cluster.  Note as well, Frankfurt is an addition to the recent "Frank/Fanny/Francisco..." pattern-cluster.

The surname Wallmann can be broken down into the cryptic phrase re: Wall man... or in other words, "man the wall", a saying that goes way back-- protect the castle... safeguard and protect the home.  The etymology of Walter is "Ruler of the Army" re: http://www.behindthename.com/name/walter, and so I suggest that the intended communication is directed at "THE Ruler of the Army"... and for them to "Man the Wall"... to protect the home front.  Makes perfect sense to me.
