Since the topic of Duck has cropped up, and because I was on the Brampton (City in Ontario) wikipedia page, I continued to peruse List of people from Brampton for any name that stood out, especially anything relating to “duck”. I came across:
hip-hop artist Roy Woods
It immediately occurred to me— Wood Duck!! Okaaay…, and so the plot thickens,… with a strange encounter that I had with a Wood Duck,… a duck that is not supposed to in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (where I lived at the time).
Note the following screen shot I just took of a January 7, 2003 text-message conversation with my daughter. I had my two young grandson’s for the day, and had taken them out for a walk outside my apartment that was next to Lake Banook. We stopped to watch and feed the ducks— all the usual mallards,… save for one who had some similar markings as the male mallards, that my 6 year old grandson Manny pointed out was different. The difference to male mallards then became obvious. This was not a mallard, and in fact I had never seen a duck like this one before.
Then 11 days later I message my daughter after I finally decided to research:
It was definitely a wood duck!! I then ventured to the Wood Duck Wikipedia page and noted its following territory:

The light green is breeding range. So I took the wood duck photo in January … , not even close to breeding time… , so WHY… and WTH?!
These next two notables from Brampton also stood out given their names have a cryptic connection to “duck” via the “Remove a Letter in Name Makes a Word” pattern cluster, and so making “seven”, and how does this relate to duck you ask? Well the number 7 shares the same key as the “&” and symbol, that looks like a simple line drawing of a duck

- Steven “Afterburner” Turner (CFL) (born January 18, 1987)
Do note that Duplantis’ birthday is TOMORROW!! Also my grandson Manny was born on January 23rd,… on the anniversary of Duplantis’ passing!!

First of all, let me explain why I was planning to talk about the name “Steven”, beginning with the following excerpt from my recent December 22 post (Part 72):
Some of my posts involve an investigation of numbers, butt it’s number 7 that we need to consider now... what with number 77 in this series of posts not too far away!! The number 7 on my keyboard shares the same key as the & symbol, which I’ve said often— that its similar to a simple line drawing of a duck, and I often relate to sequences of 7’s cropping up as a cryptic : Better get your lucky 7777/&&&& ducks in a row.The connection with “Steven” and “seven” is cryptic— the name is an addition to the “Remove a Letter Makes a Word” pattern-cluster... as in remove the “t” makes SEVEN. I’ve mentioned this in many of my posts, ie: see my earlier post, Seven (posted on April 10, 2017).
