The Equalizer 3 and Lady Justice

 

Because our inner twin’s influence our thoughts and actions, I always pay attention to pattern clusters I notice in my own daily life.  Such is the case today, when watching the Netflix film, The Equalizer 3.  At one point during the film, one character shoots the ear of another. Later in the film the injured character is shown with a bandaged up ear.  Sound familiar?!  It then dawned on me that the surname of the main actor, Denzel Washington (the Equalizer), is also the surname of a US President.  

So, I ventured to the films wikipedia page, and WOW,… you have to look closely,… below Denzel— his reflection is none other than Lady Justice.  We have another addition to the recent “Court/Justice Theme” pattern cluster. 

On perusing the film’s list of cast and crew one stood out:

Conrad Buff IV (born July 8, 1948)

TODAY is his birthday, and so an addition to the “Timely” pattern cluster.   His surname is also an addition to the “Name is a Word” pattern cluster.   I’m reminded of another surname that recently cropped up on Wikipedia’s Deaths in 2025 site, this is also a word: 

Jim Shooter (September 27, 1951 – June 30, 2025) 73, American comic book writer (Secret Wars, Superman) and editor (Marvel Comics), esophageal cancer

I decided to venture to the Shooter surname Wikipedia page, where I found one other that would provide birth and death info on their wiki page: 

• Adrian Shooter  (22 November 1948 – 13 December 2022) British transport executive

OK,… he died on the anniversary of my vehicle collision… 22 years later.  His birthday is one off from my mother’s birthday, butt something else occurred to me November 22 is 11/22…  so we are being prompted to locate 11/22/33. On the November 22 wikipedia page I found only one who fit the bill: 

• 1933 – Merv Lincoln, Australian Olympic athlete (died 2016)

OKAAY… so note his surname— another Presidential surname re Abe Lincoln!!  Note from Merv’s  wiki page: 

• Mervyn George "Merv" Lincoln (22 November 1933 – 1 May 2016)

Note his date of death— May 1… aka a cryptic “May won”… my name being “May”, makes this particularly meaningful.
