Pea Pay Politicians (Part 28: Sala?!)

Continuing on from my previous post, the “Names Beginning With ‘Sala’(x2)” pattern cluster, is a definite prompt from the inner twin world to investigate further.

SalaOccupational name for a worker at a manor house, from the Romance word sala meaning "hall, large room", of Germanic origin.

Note the following origin of Salazar

From Spanish sala meaning "hall" and Basque zaharmeaning "old".

Note the following etymology of the word that fits:

Salary :late 13c., "compensation, payment," whether periodical, for regular service or for a specific service; from Anglo-French salarie, Old French salaire "wages, pay, reward," from Latin salarium "an allowance, a stipend, a pension," said to be originally "salt-money, soldier's allowance for the purchase of salt" [Lewis & Short] noun use of neuter of adjective salarius "of or pertaining to salt; yearly revenue from the sale of salt;" as a noun, "a dealer in salt fish," from sal (genitive salis) "salt" (from PIE root *sal- "salt").

So what could they be saying?!
