Pea Pay Politicians (Part 16: Flower Price...)

Given the recent October 8 pattern cluster, this is also a prompt to venture back to Wikipedia’s Deaths in 2020 site to investigate those listed under the date who stand out.  What I did notice is the two who have similar surnames.  Note from their wiki pages:

I also discovered that the surname a both originated as O’Dwyer.  On the O’Dwyer surname Wikipedia page I discover that the etymology is black/dark. And note the similarity to the word “dire”.  One in the list of notable O’ Dwyer’s stands out, given his first name is an addition to the recent and prolific “Remove a Letter Makes a Word” pattern cluster.... and so making “sea”... a dark and dire sea!!

Note from his wiki page:

Born11 September 1941

Definitely a birthday that has dark undertones today!!  On the O’Dwyer surname Wikipedia page,  note the following info on one who has Thomas (aka twin) in his name:

I also investigated this person because her name translates into “Flower Price Black/Dark”:

  • Florence P. Dwyer (1902–1976), American politician
  • Florence Price Dwyer (July 4, 1902 – February 29, 1976)
