Continuing on re:

A reminder to investigate January 3... and now December 3!! 

I’ll do one... using the formula on the January 3 wiki page we arrive at:

• 1777 – William Leslie, Scottish captain (b. 1751)

• The Honourable William Leslie (8 August 1751 – 3 January 1777)

Do note the cryptic “less lie” in his surname.  And then there’s his birthday, meaningful given the following excerpt from part 2 of this series of posts:

• 1993 – A. N. Sherwin-White (10 August 1911 – 1 November 1993) English historian and scholar 
• 1994 – Noah Beery, Jr.,  (August 10, 1913 – November 1, 1994) American actor 
• 2000 – George Armstrong (9 August 1944 – 1 November 2000) English footballer and manager 

All three were born on the 222nd day of the year!!!  And generating an “August 8, 9, 10(x2)” pattern-cluster.  

And as I glanced down the list of notable Deaths on the January 3 wiki page, one name stood out, note from his wiki page:

• George  Goodman (August 10, 1930 – January 3, 2014) 

He too was born on the 222nd day of the year!!  Now all you need to do is investigate the cryptic meaning behind the name “George” ... and we need to locate the third intended “George”... hmmm.
