Split... Spit... Pit...It...I

The Deaths in 2018 site lists under August 13:

• Zvonko Bego, 77, Croatian footballer (Bayern Munich, Yugoslavia national team).

His surname stands out given that it’s another addition to the recent and prolific “Remove a Letter Makes a Word” pattern-cluster... as in remove the “o” makes “beg”.  As well that his age is a twin 77 at death speaks cryptic volumes: as in “get your ducks in a row...&&”.

His birthday is “one off” from my sisters birthday of December 18 and so an addition to another prolific cluster— “Off by One” pattern-cluster.  

The team is from the city of “Split”, its name also being an addition to the  “Remove a Letter Makes a Word” pattern-cluster... as in remove the “l” makes “spit”!!  

Note from the following info on the current manager of Hajduk Split : 

• Željko Kopić (born 10 September 1977)   

His birthday is also an addition to the  “Off by One” pattern-cluster... as in one off from 9/11!!  Not only is 9/11 a significant day in US history, butt it’s also the day of the year where 111 days remain!!!

Note the following info on the Mayor of the city of Split:

Andro Krstulović Opara (born 22 May 1967 in Split) is a Croatian politician and art historian who has been Mayor of Split since 14 June 2017

He was born one day off from May 23, the day of the year where 222 days remain and so yet another addition to the “Off by One” pattern-cluster.

And now the question remains... what’s behind the cryptic communication re split/spit?!
