Her surname is an addition to the "Notable Cryptic Name" pattern-cluster.  It is most notable because it's a cryptic combination of "write right"... in other words, write the truth about the inner twin world. This is something the MacGreger's have yet to do, as you'll understand more about by simply reading the very first post in this blog re, Censoring Around Michael Jackson's Death (RIIP).

That sends a message... cryptic, butt loud and clear from the page I'm on!!  This reminds me of the recent "Baum/Bomb/Water Bomb" pattern-cluster, and then another cast member of the film:

His surname definitely jives... and so does the name "Matthew"-- a cryptic "Matt hew"... and keep in mind the recent Hurricane named Matthew.  His character name jives with a cryptic "time read". Note from his wiki page:

Together with the significant date of 9/11 we have a "September 11, October 11, ___/Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.  I'll let you investigate that one
