Stephen King's Dick Tiger & the Future

Still reading Stephen King's 11/22/63,  I came to page "777" that begins Chapter 24.  And then on page 800 (just above section 11), the protagonist, Jake, predicts the future:

"I know who's going to win a prizefight in Madison Square Garden next month.  His name is Tom Case and he's going to knock out Dick Tiger in the 5th round... 

"Tom" means twin in origin and so we get a cryptic phrase re "twin case".  And then the "Tiger" surname is an addition to the recent "Lion/Tiger/Cat...Theme" pattern-cluster.  So I wondered if it was a real event.  I wasn't able to find a Tom Case "Boxer", butt I did find a Dick Tiger:

• Dick Tiger (born Richard Ihetu August 14, 1929 – December 14, 1971)

His date of death is an addition to the "Targeting Family Birthdays" pattern-cluster given that December 14 is my younger sisters birthday.   As well, my car crash of December 13 means we have a "December 13, 14(x2),__/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster in the works.  Note this next excerpt from his wiki page:

• A fictional August 29, 1963 Madison Square Garden bout in which a heavily favored Dick Tiger loses to Tom "The Hammer" Case of Dallas, Texas comes near the end of Stephen King's time-travel novel 11/22/63.

So that settles it.  I investigated notable persons Tiger fought against who have wiki pages;

The clusters are colour coded, so you can figure them out for yourself, butt some of the dates have personal significance: July 23 being the date of my mothers death last year and January 19th the birthday of my brother.  Fernandez's birthday of March 7th cropped up in my recent May 31st post, Malasia Flight 370 & Electric Fog Theory, note this excerpt:

• Stanley Kubrick (July 26, 1928 – March 7, 1999) 

His date of death stands out given that the date had cropped up on investigating Gernon's web site:

• Electronic Fog Theory and the Disappearance of Malaysian Airliner Flight 370

Gernon believes it possible that electronic fog had resulted in Malaysia Flight 370's disappearance.  Note from the Flight 370 wiki page:

• The aircraft last made voice contact with air traffic control at 01:19 MYT, 8 March (17:19 UTC, 7 March) 
•  It left the range of Malaysian military radar at 02:22
