4 Journalists Die in 2 Days: Huntz

Note the following from The Deaths in 2016 site under June 20-21:

• 21
• Karl Dallas, 85, British journalist, author and campaigner.^[1] (death announced on this day)

• Jack Fuller, 69, American journalist and publisher (Tribune Publishing), cancer.^[2]

• Henk Hofland, 88, Dutch journalist, columnist and writer.^[3]
• 20
• Benoîte Groult, 96, French journalist, writer and feminist activist.^[6]

Four Journalist have died!!   And that's not all, note the following info regarding two:

• Karl Frederick Dallas (29 January 1931 – 21 June 2016)
• Benoîte Groult(January 31, 1920 – June 20, 2016)  

Their birthdays generate a "January 29, __, 31/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.  This is a gap cluster that's strategically designed to prompt us to bridge the gap by investigating the missing day, in this case January 30th.  Because the lists found there are long I generally limit my search to only the Deaths Section and to only the years having 3 identical numbers at the end, this is what I found:

• 1999 – Huntz Hall, American actor and singer (b. 1919)
• 1999 – Ed Herlihy, American journalist and actor (b. 1909)

Both names stand out, all you have to do is look at my previous post title to see why the name Huntz stands out.  As for the second, anyone following this blog would know the cryptic phrase in Ed Herlihy's name.  Now note from their wiki pages:

• Henry Richard "Huntz" Hall(August 15, 1920^[1]– January 30, 1999) 
• Edward Joseph "Ed" Herlihy(August 14, 1909 – January 30, 1999^[1])

Their birthdays generate an "August 14, 15, __/Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.  More homework!!
