Thomas & Thomas RIIIIP (Part 7): Hop Church

Continuing on and following up on one of the notable "Thomas'" who recently passed away:  f
Being an actor means that there's far more that the inner twin world can work with in generating the clusters that they use to "come out" and "communicate" to us.  On his wiki page, is a Filmography section that provides a list of films that he acted in.  So following the usual set of rules, note these two film:
Standing out is the surname "Hopkirk", given that it's a cryptic "hop Kirk" and so an addition to the recent "Kirk/Church" pattern-cluster.  The Old Norse word, kirk (meaning "church") had cropped up in my recent April 6 post entitled, 4th of July, 4 Presidents... (Part 2): Debunking the Debunker's, where further investigations led to Robert Burns poem,  Tam o' Shanter", and to this verse:
Or catch'd wi' warlocks in the mirk, By Alloway's auld, haunted kirk.
So "hop Kirk" translates as "hop church".   As to the meaning behind "hop", at the moment it's up in the air (pun intended).  However there is a "Hop..Theme." pattern-cluster, note from my February 8, 2016 post, Roy Señeres & Margaret Forster RIIIIP: Healing the Heel
The surname is an addition to the "Be Hoppy /Hop kin..." pattern-cluster that connects to the "Broken Foot/Heel..." pattern-cluster., and if you venture to my earlier post,  Hopping Down the Hopi Trail with Rob MacGregoryou'll get a gist of how it all began.  .. at least the "Hoppy" part, butt what I didn't explain in the post and should have, is that Rob and his daughter Megan experienced "broken foot", making them both "Hoppy" candidates.  So note from the University's wiki page:
  • Hopkins' support of Abraham Lincoln also often put him at odds with some of Maryland's most prominent people, particularly Supreme Court Justice Roger B. Taney,
  • Abraham Lincoln (  February 12, 1809 – April 15,
  • Roger Brooke Taney (March 17, 1777 – October 12, 1864)
There are two things in regards to the dates: the anniversary of Lincoln's date of death is today (this date also cropped up in my previous post), and the other is Taney's date of birth, given that it's St. Patrick's Day!!  Made that much more meaningful given the "Irish theme" re "Tam o'Shanter".  And note the 777 at the end o f the year of Taney's birthday, now that's three &&& lucky ducks in a row (see my previous post), the Irish always did have a thing for luck!!

Hopkirk is a strange surname so I tried investigating the name, butt no etymology, I did however arrive at Wikipedia's page re: Hopkirk, that gives a list of 4 notable persons bearing the surname. I went their wiki pages and retrieved the following:
  • Peter Hopkirk (15 December 1930 – 22 August 2014) journalist
The last three first names caught my eye.   Another Thomas... Another addition to the "Twin Things/Thomas" pattern-cluster.  The name Peter reminds me of Peter Rabbit and so jiving with "hop"; and Paddy aka Patrick connects to St. Patrick.  The  date that stands out is fairly obvious--yesterday being April 14, Paddy Hopkirk's birthday!!   So we now have an "April 13, 14, 15/Date  Sequence" pattern-cluster.  Also taking into consideration  Gareth Tomas's date of death:
  • Gareth Daniel Thomas (12 February 1945 – 13 April 2016)
I guess there it also a Religious theme in the works re Church and  St. Patrick, and this makes me think that maybe "hop" is also short for "hope".
