Infinitely Polar Bear: ♡July 23♡

I watched a movie :
Of course my reason for watching the film, is personal.   When I was about 8-9 years old, my beautiful, loving mother became depressed.  The original diagnosis was "manic depressive" and she was prescribed Valium, and she was drugged into oblivion.   For a period of 15years she was mostly institutionalized.   At around the 10th year of her ordeal, she was re diagnosed with "bipolar" disorder, put in detox for 9 months to wean her off Valium and then put on lithium.  On lithium she re entered society, not as the vibrant woman and great artist that I remember in my youth, butt at least she was able to come back enough to leave the institution and rekindle a relationship with her children and grandchildren.

My take as an adult now looking back: my mother became depressed, had a breakdown and sought help from those she believed would look after her best interest, and help her.  This was not the case. Instead she was used as a guinea pig.  Her misfortune was that she was the wife of a soldier.  The Armed Forces is an institution that rely on men and so it's very important  to keep their soldiers happy with their career.   A big disadvantage is the power of wives and so not wanting to be outdone, a strategy needs to be in place to deal with the wives that become dissatisfied.   One strategy of keeping wives from leaving and taking their precious soldiers with them-- you drug the wives.  Oh, and there's the golden handshake/turning a blind eye to the part played by psychiatrists who make more as they acquire more patients.

Finally, the year is 2016, and psychiatrists become aware that Lithium is killing my mother, so they take her off (cold turkey), and she dies within the year on July 23, 2016.

Note from the wiki page of the films directorMaya Forbes:
  • Maya Forbes (born July 23, 1968)
My mom died on Maya's birthday!!

Note from the wiki pages of cast/crew :
  • Austin Stark (born May 31, 1979)
  • Mark Alan Ruffalo (born November 22, 1967)
  • Zoe Saldana Perego (June 19, 1978)
  • Keir Dullea (born May 30, 1936)
Release dates
Stark's and Dullea's birthdays generate a "May__, 30, 31/Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.   So to bridge the gap we go to the May 29, wiki page, and as per usual I limit my search by investigating only the years having 3 identical numbers at the end.  Butt this time, since I didn't find anything meaningful.  I then noted that the difference between the year of their births was 33, so I decided to investigate the year next in sequence, 1903.  Note the following:
Terence Hanbury "TimWhite (29 May 1906 – 17 January 1964)
Note his date of death and note the following excerpt from my previous post:

  • Vladimir Mikhaylovich Yulygin (January 18, 1936 - April 26, 2016)
  •  Rudolf Wessely (19 January 1925 – 25 April 2016)
  • Richard Fraser (15 March 1913 – 19 January 1972)
We have a "January __, 18, 19/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.
In a recent post I also mentioned that my mom loved to draw teddy bears.  Well she also loved to draw polar bears.
