From Hello Yello to Hell Yell (Assisted Suicide Part 2)

 Brittany Maynard

It stands to reason that as a caring society we would come to terms with Medically Assisted Suicide, especially as people broaden their horizons beyond the narrow scope of religion where many (if not most) consider suicide a crime against God.

I read an Article on the Kessler Twins assisted suicide, where I discover that the had a dog named “Yello” (without the “w”/“double you”) and their request to be buried with Yello and their mother.

The article included the following related article:

On investigating Jackie’s wikipedia page we arrive at:

Jacqueline Ferrara (nÊe Hirschhorn; November 17, 1929 – October 22, 2025)

It’s interesting to note that the Kessler twins had passed away on Ferrara’s birthday.  This was enough to prompt me to visit the Wikipedia page, List of deaths from legal euthanasia and assisted suicide.  Since the list was long I perused the names for any who stood out, and came to:

Brittany Maynard19842014AmericanUnited StatesTeacher

Maynard stood out given that it’s an addition to the “Word in Name” pattern cluster, butt not just any word, “May” is also my first name.  Note from her wiki page:

Brittany Lauren Maynard (November 19, 1984 – November 1, 2014)

TODAY is Brittany’s birthday!!

On reading Brittany’s wikipedia page, one other notable person stood out in the end:

Hawaii has become the seventh state to legalize medically assisted suicide. Hawaii Governor David Ige signed the bill into law in Honolulu on Thursday, April 5, 2018. The law took effect on January 1, 2019.

  • David Yutaka Ige (born January 15, 1957)

Both my expartner of 27 years and my son, were born on January 15th… 22 years apart!!

Still, what’s up with Yello dog… so I googled and AI brought forward Yellow Dog Democrat?! On perusing its wikipedia page one name caught my eye,  , given that it’s an addition to the recent and prolific  “Ass in Name” pattern cluster.  Note from his wiki page:

Lewis Cass (October 9, 1782 – June 17, 1866)

His date of death stands out — an addition to the “Timely” pattern cluster… and bridging a gap in a cluster from my previous post:

We have a “June __, 18, 19, 20/Date Sequence” pattern cluster
