Sometimes leads come from other sources, such as the following info from this blogs stats of last 7 days:
The bottom section that reveals some of the posts, and the third one down, is my April 23, 2017 post entitled “George”. This is a twin heads upp, given the recent “George/gorge” pattern cluster, and so a prompt to visit the post to locate the cryptic connection. On reading the post, this excerpt stood out:
Note from my earlier post today in this series, Witty May…
It was the “Witty May” given that yesterdays post, Sitting Duck -vs- Flying Duck!! (Part 25 Charlie Kirk), that includes two persons surnamed “Wisdom” and “Wise” (note etymology of “wise” at bottom of post), note from the post:
- John Minor Wisdom (May 17, 1905 – May 15, 1999)
- Henry Wise Jr. (POW) (May 26, 1920 – May 2, 2003)
That Wisdom and Wise were both born and died in May is a strategic influence. AND with that in mind, Note this next excerpt from the post, George:
Note from my earlier post today in this series, Witty May
- Julian Gordon Priestley (26 May 1950 – 23 April 2017)
- Sandy Gallin, (May 27, 1940 – April 21, 2017)
- Paul Hébert (May 28, 1924 – April 20, 2017)
- Walter Reisch (May 23, 1903 – March 28, 1983)
- Dame Mary Louise Webster (19 June 1865 – 29 May 1948)
- Joseph Cheshire Cotten, Jr. (May 15, 1905 – February 6, 1
- Clarence Leon Brown (May 10, 1890 – August 17, 1987
- Sidney Arnold Franklin (March 21, 1893 – May 18, 1972)
- Robert Gruntal Nathan (January 2, 1894 – May 25, 1985)
- Robert James Kern (March 29, 1885 – May 30, 1972
- Miles Mander (14 May 1888 – 8 February 1946)
- Dame Mary Louise Webster (19 June 1865 – 29 May 1948)
So we now have a "May 21, _, 23, _, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, _/Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.
The list of names are from two Witty May films, Gaslight and White Cliffs of Dover, note this excerpt:
- Gaslight (1944) as Miss Bessie Thwaites
- The White Cliffs of Dover (1944)
Hmmm 2 more May dates. Note the following info on May Witty:
Dame Mary Louise Webster (née Whitty; 19 June 1865 – 29 May 1948)
For some reason I didn’t include the May dates before May 21st from the list!? AND left out one Gaslight actor :
- Joseph Ruttenberg, A.S.C. (July 4, 1889 - May 1, 1983)

Etymology study (Do note the “wise ass” below):
wise(adj.)
"having the power of judging or discerning rightly," Old English wis "learned, sagacious, cunning; sane; prudent, discreet; experienced, practically knowing;" from Proto-Germanic *wissaz, reconstructed to be from past-participle adjective *wittos of PIE root *weid- "to see" (hence "to know;" compare wise(n.)). The word is related to the source of Old English witan "to know, be aware of" (see wit (v.)).
Wise-ass (n.) is by 1966, American English (probably a literal sense is intended by the phrase in the 1607 comedy "Westward Hoe" by Dekker and Webster)
