… and Swan Shooter

The poster for the film shows Natalie Portman with white facial makeup, black-winged eye liner around bloodshot red eyes, and a jagged crystal tiara.

Continuing from my previous post, note the following excerpts:

  • 1996 – Curt Swan, American illustrator
  • Douglas Curtis Swan (February 17, 1920 – June 17, 1996)

So the question is why would the inner twin world include “swan” in the cryptic mix? His middle name, Curtis, also jives with the previous post with “curt”— speaks precisely, to the point, and often rude.  Keep in mind that one Swan in particular is meaningful— the “ mute swan”… not that it doesn’t vocalized, just that it’s much less than the trumpeter and whooper swans.  I consider this a prompt to investigate further.  From here we turn to investigating the notable persons mentioned on Swan’s wiki page, where I generally choose the ones who stand out the most, and in this case:

  • James Charles Shooter (September 27, 1951 – June 30, 2025)
  • Laurence van Cott Niven (born April 30, 1938)

Do note the “shoot” in “shooter” that jives — an addition to “Word in Name” pattern cluster.  The reason I chose them has to do with the fact that they are both additions to the cluster in my previous post via their dates re June 30 and April 30, bridging two gaps in the process, and so expanding it into a  “March 30, April 30, May 30, June 30, __, August 30/ 30th Day” pattern cluster.

I decided to google “swan shooter” as a lead, and this is what AI brought forward: The Black Swan manslaughter case, note from its wiki page:

The Black Swan manslaughter case[a] occurred in Lakewood RanchManatee CountyFlorida, on September 27, 2020.

On September 27, 2020, Doug was found shot twice in Ashley's mother's house,[1][9] he died in a hospital approximately an hour later

Doug Benefield, after being shot twice, died on September 27th,… which happens to be James Shooter’s birthday!!

A bit more info from The Black Swan manslaughter case, note from its wiki page:

Ashley Benefield (née Byers),[4] a former ballerina, was accused of the shooting mariticide[5] of her estranged husband 58-year-old Douglas "Doug" Benefield.[6] The murder trial is known by this name due to the defendant's former profession and in reference of 2010 film Black Swan.[1] The murder and subsequent trial received national media attention.

On November 4, 2020,[10]Ashley was charged with second-degree murder.[11][8] Ashley and her defense attorney during the trial claimed that she did it in self-defense during a domestic dispute.[3] Prosecutors argued that Ashley fabricated the abuse allegations to gain sole custody of their child
