Trigg Zingg ?!

Wikipedia’s notable Deaths in 2025 site lists under April 10:

  • Drew Zingg (1957 – April 2025)  68, guitarist(death announced on this date)

The name stands out given a post I made in July, that associates the name with an unforgettable event— the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump (see excerpt from post below).

I decided to go to the Zingg surname wiki page.  There were just a few, two stood out:
December 14 is my sister Linda’S birthday and August 25 is my granddaughter’s birthday.  Both dates of death stand out, July 28 being an addition to the recent “Even Days in July” pattern cluster and 4 May is a cryptic “for May”… May being my first name.

The etymology source says it likely comes from zinc.
zinc(n.)

element, one of the useful metals, 1650s, zinke, from German Zink, perhaps related to Zinke "prong, point;" said to have been used first by Paracelsus (c. 1526) on analogy of the form of its crystals after smelting. Zinke is from Old High German zint "a point, jag."

There’s also the matter of the double “gg”, that likely has other significant meaning, so I googled “names ending in gg” and there is a wiki page with a list, … not too long so I investigated, and the name “Trigg” was on the list… hmmm, “trigger”!!  One stood out from Wikipedias list of notable Trigg’s

  • Cyril Trigg (8 April 1917 – 9 April 1993) 1917–1993), English footballer

So, Drew Zingg passed away on April 10,… so we now have a perfect run of three— “March 8, 9, 10” pattern cluster.

I have no idea what to make of this one.

On the same day that Trump was shot, another notable death stands out:

Tom Azinger, 89, American politiciantwin a zing zinger

    • Thomas 'Tom' Albert Azinger (July 2, 1935 – July 13, 2024)

Note the following definition of “zing” from various sources:

    1. move rapidly, making a high-pitched ringing or whining noise.
      "another bullet zinged past him"
    2.
sharp singing or whining noise, as of a bullet passing through the air
    3. A short high-pitched humming sound, such as that made by a bullet or vibrating string
    4. The bullets zinged [=zipped] past our ears.
    5. a short high-pitched buzzing sound, as of a bullet or vibrating string
And as for zinger:
    • a quick, witty, or pointed remark or retort
