White House to /[ö]\ House, PART 14

Continuing on, I googled “surname Rat”, and I arrived at one notable person whose surname at birth is “Rats”.  AND, he happens to be Ukrainian, note from his wiki page:
Vasyl Karlovych Rats (born 25 March 1961) is a former Ukrainian footballmidfielder . He participated in two World Cups with the Soviet Union national football team.
His birthday is an addition to the cluster in my previous post:
 “March 1, 2(x4), 3, 4(x3), 5, 6, 7, ...,10,  11,__, 13, __, 15, __, 17, __, 19, ..., 25, 26, ..., 30, 31/ Date Sequence” pattern cluster.
Note their war time uniform colour:

 FC "Start"
1941–1944
Note the following on the history section of the wiki page of his team, FC Dynamo Kyiv :
The propaganda story is often told of how the Dynamo team, playing as "Start, City of Kyiv All-Stars", was executed by a firing squad in the summer of 1942 for defeating an All-Star team from the German armed forces by 5–1. The actual story, as recounted by Y. Kuznetsov, is considerably more complex. Still, this match has subsequently become known in the Soviet media as "The Death Match".
On The Death Match wiki page:
The Longest Yard is a 1974 American sports comedy film directed by Robert Aldrich, written by Tracy Keenan Wynn and based on a story by producer Albert S. Ruddy.
The film stood out due to the following recent addition to the Deaths in 2019 site:
Catherine Small Long, 95, American politician, member of the U.S. House of Representatives (1985–1987), dementia

  • Mary Catherine Small Long (born Mary Catherine Small; February 7, 1924 – November 23, 2019)
She passed away on my mothers birthday.  With a name like that “small long”... with the long and short of it being that her death is “Timely”, and so a prompt to investigate those mentioned on her wiki page.
  • Gillis William Long (May 4, 1923 - January 20, 1985)
  • Clyde Cecil Holloway (November 28, 1943 – October 16, 2016)
  • George Harrison Long (born October 13, 1954)
  • Janis Catherine Long (born March 25, 1957)
  • Wayne Lyman Morse (October 20, 1900 – July 22, 1974)
  • James Gould Polk (October 6, 1896 – April 28, 1959)
  • William Joseph "Bill" Dodd (November 25, 1909 – November 16, 1991)
  • Huey Pierce Long Jr. (August 30, 1893 – September 10, 1935)
  • Speedy Oteria Long (June 16, 1928 – October 5, 2006
Bill Dodd stands out given that his birthday is TODAY, and so an addition to the “Timely” pattern cluster.  And Janis Long has the same birthday as Rats!!

Who would like to investigate The Longest Yard?!

And of course, the “Long Theme” pattern cluster as well as “NOSE” cropping up reminds me of Pinocchio... AND it also connects in cryptic fashion with the “Dog Theme” pattern cluster... prompting us to the Dachshund wiki page, where I found:
Lump (1956 – 29 March 1973), was a Dachshund owned by David Douglas Duncan who lived with artist Pablo Picasso for six years, and featured in several of his works.
 “March 1, 2(x4), 3, 4(x3), 5, 6, 7, ...,10,  11,__, 13, __, 15, __, 17, __, 19, ..., 25, 26, ..., 29, 30, 31/ Date Sequence” pattern cluster
  • Pablo Ruiz Picasso ( 25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973)
  • David Douglas Duncan (January 23, 1916 – June 7, 2018)
Three of the dates stand out: October 25, January 23, and June 7.  By keying in the dates to this blogs search box, you’ll see why.

Note from Lunp’s Wiki page:
The painted plate that Picasso created on their first meeting was donated to the Harry Ransom Cente
Picasso painted 44 studies of Diego Velázquez's painting Las Meninas between 17 August and 30 December 1957; Lump appeared in 15 of them.

  • Harry Huntt Ransom (November 22, 1908[1] – April 19, 1976[2]
  • Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez[a] (baptized June 6, 1599 – August 6, 1660)

Note from the Dachshund’s wiki page;
Dachshunds can track a scent that is more than a week old
And so that’s at least one explanation re the NOSE !!
