Continuing on from my previous post, a bit of a recap:
Battle of the Beagles (November 12, 2019 post):
And there’s this guy:
Savage Sam is a 1962 children's novel written by Fred Gipson, his second book concerning the Coates family of frontier Texas in the late 1860s. It is a sequel to 1956's Old Yeller. It was inspired by the story of former Apache captive Herman Lehmann, whom Gipson had seen give an exhibition when he was a child. It was adapted into a motion picture of the same name.
- Frederick Benjamin "Fred" Gipson (February 7, 1908 – August 14, 1973)
- Herman Lehmann (June 5, 1859 – February 2, 1932)
His date of death stands out given that February 2nd during a leap year is the 33rd day with 333 days remaining.Note this next info re Gipson and Lehmann:
June 14 is also the birthday of US President Trump and May 16 is also the birthday of Rob MacGregor. And we also have a “June 14(x3), __, August 14/ 14th Day, Month Sequence” pattern cluster in the works, and see previous post as well re “July 4(x3), 6, __, ..., __, 16, 18, 20/ Even Day, Date Sequence” pattern cluster — both cluster have July 14 gap. A definite prompt to investigate the day. Butt lets wait. I decided to investigate Lehmann’s Wiki page given the significance of his date of death. Note the following info regarding notable persons mentioned on his wiki page:
- On June 14, 1962, Mike Gipson, Fred Gipson's son, found the Gipson family dog, the inspiration for Savage Sam, clubbed to death. Shortly after this event, Mike committed suicide.
- On May 16, 1870, a raiding party of eight to ten Apaches (probably Lipans) captured Herman Lehmann, who was almost eleven
There’s much that stands out with the dates and names, butt what really stands out to me the most is that two, Sherman and Dobie, had both died in the month they were born, so two additions to the “Born and Died in Same Month” pattern cluster. Note from my previous post:
- Emanuel Stance (1843 – December 25, 1887) godly/Christ like stance
- William Tecumseh Sherman (February 8, 1820 – February 14, 1891)
- Quanah Parker (Comanche kwana, "smell, odor") (c. 1845 or 1852 – February 20, 1911)
- James Frank Dobie (September 26, 1888 – September 18, 1964)
- Frederick Benjamin "Fred" Gipson (February 7, 1908 – August 14, 1973)
Yet another one, AND Le Loutre and Dobie share the same birthday, hence generating a “September 26(x2)” pattern cluster. Let’s look at some of the other dates in recent posts that also jive... focussing on February and November, beginning with my previous post:
