continuing on from my previous post.
To sum it up, much of Florida in grave danger, more so than the rest of the planet as a result of "man made" global warming that's only a part of the equation. There's another event that's taking place that for the most part is ignored, even though it contributes even more to global warming. As glacial ice continues to melt, lands close to sea level will be affected. The other event that's occurring has to do with the Earth's Plates in the Northern Hemisphere that are still adjusting from the results of being released from the massive weight of glacial ice that had built up during the last glacial period. Note this excerpt from the Post-Glacial Rebound wiki page:
It's easy to understand what's really happening if you put your mind to it: the land where the "great" glaciers had been during the last glacial maximum (about 15,000 years ago), had "depressed" the earths crust. BUTT, the massive weight had produced another effect: it caused the affected plates of land to "bowl", and as such the land along the outer periphery of the plates that had been free of glacial ice, had not depressed, butt had curled upward. So now, as some of the land rebounds, other parts are resettling-- these areas that are in danger, because much of it lay within and close to the ocean.
The map below is a photo I took from a section of an article: Coastal Florida and Everglades - Sea Level Rise Map. If you go to the site, you can play around with the map, adjusting it to reflect various sea level rises. The photo below reflects a rise of 20 meters above present sea levels over the area of Florida. At precisely this level of sea rise, you can see that Tallahasse (at the upper left hand portion of the map), is still mostly above sea level... not so for the tip of Florida... not so for Trish and Rob MacGregor and other residents of Wellington!! Now if you look just below Orlando, you can see the name Kissimmee, and it's no fluke that it has the same ring as "Tallahassee". Kissimmee is not as lucky as Tallahasse though, as you can see, it's on the verge of being Kissed Goodby by the sea. The inner twin world are far more knowledgeable about what can be expected than the general public. They have influenced place names to reflect what they know in a cryptic language that we are more than capable of understanding if we simply put our minds to it ... and put it to the test.
If you are going to wait around for world leaders and experts to give proper advice on the danger, you're a fool who has no inkling as to the moral fibre of those who run the world... or for anyone for that matter. People are on the fast track and so can barely slow down let alone the best scenario of getting off the track, to avoid the danger... um... that in it's final throws, may or may not come SWIFT?! If there's a time to sell property and move to higher ground, now is the time for the residents of South Florida and others living close to sea level. Now, because most people WON'T be doing any such thing-- getting off the track scenario (Plan A), the next best scenario is "slowing down enough to avoid a catastrophe" (Plan B) which entails a back up plan: how you and your loved ones will rise to the occasion: as lifeless bodies bobbing on the surface ... or you can gracefully and safely float to the surface along with all of your loved ones, pets, food, fresh water and most prized possessions until properly rescued. Now the only way Plan B can work, is if it's affordable, available ... and not too much of a hassle.

Recently, the term post-glacial rebound is gradually being replaced by the term glacial isostatic adjustment. This is in recognition that the response of the Earth to glacial loading and unloading is not limited to the upward rebound movement, but also involves downward land movement, horizontal crustal motion,[3][4]The key being the part that says: "also involves downward land movement". This is the part that until recently has been virtually ignored. There has been much talk of rebound... because this doesn't create a sense of panic... so what if the earth is rising a little tiny bit every year in the northern hemisphere?! Now if you tell people that the land is also "falling" in areas... well this is a different story, especially to those who live near the shore.
