Note the similarity re LeRoy and Lajos... apparently a cryptic French-- with Le for masculine and La for feminine. According to the etymology of names, Roy means either "King" or "Red" and as for Jos, the closest thing I could find is:

And of course the surname Kiss... reminds me of the recent "X/ Andrew" pattern-cluster. The Goddess Kiss.joss (n.)
