LeRoy Leonard RIIP Meets Lajos Kiss RIIP: xt

The Deaths in 2014 site lists under September 4th:

Roy Leonard, 83, American radio personality (WGN), esophageal infection.

Note from his wiki page:

• LeRoy Stewart Leonard^[1] (January 19, 1931 – September 4, 2014), known asRoy Leonard, was an American radio personality, best known for hosting WGN's midday radio show from Chicago for 31 years and for his appearances on WGN-TV's news and Christmas specials. He also hosted Family Classics after Frazier Thomas died

He was born on my brother's birthday hence an addition to the "Targeting Family Birthdays" pattern-cluster.  Note the name Frazier Thomas, since his surname means "twin" in origin, this is another lead, note from his wiki page;

• William Frazier Thomas (June 13, 1918 – April 3, 1985)

June 13 is my birthday... a date that cropped up in the previous post.
Note LeRoy's surname Leonard... meaning Lion Hearted in origin...perhaps I missed someone in August after all, this is the month of Leo:

I didn't need to go very far, note the following under August 31st on the Deaths in 2014 site:

• Lajos Kiss, 80, Hungarian Olympic canoer (1956)

Note the similarity re LeRoy and Lajos... apparently a cryptic French-- with Le for masculine and La for feminine.  According to the etymology of names, Roy means either "King" or "Red" and as for Jos, the closest thing I could find is:

joss (n.) "Chinese figure of a deity," 1711, from Chinese Pidgin English, from Javanese dejos, taken 16c. from Portuguese deus "god," from Latin deus (see Zeus). Colloquially, it came to mean "luck." Joss stick "Chinese incense" first recorded 1883

And of course the surname Kiss... reminds me of the recent "X/ Andrew" pattern-cluster.   The Goddess Kiss.
