Justine Kaplan RIIP: Cap the Land

The Deaths in 2014 site lists under March 2nd:
Justin Kaplan, 88, American biographer, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography (1967), Parkinson's disease.
Two things stand out, his twin age, "88",  at death and his surname -- an addition to the "Cryptic Phrases in Names" pattern-cluster re "cap land", especially meaningful when you consider the subject matter as of late-- the proposed TUSSH (the Two United Structure System Home), essentially being a "capped land".  Note the following from Justin's wiki page:
best known as a biographer, particularly of Samuel ClemensLincoln Steffens, and Walt Whitman.
On investigating the wiki pages of the notable persons mentioned I discovered the following:
Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910)
Note  the following regarding Clemens (Mark Twain) date of birth:
April 21 is the 111th day of the year (112th in leap years)
Since 1910 wasn't a leap year, he died on the 111th day of the year.  Now note the following from Steffens wiki page:
Lincoln Steffens (April 6, 1866 – August 9, 1936)
Now note the following regarding his date of Death:
August 9 - is the 221st day of the year (222nd in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 144 days remaining until the end of the year.
Sin 1936 was a leap year, he died on the 222nd day of the year.  So seriously, what are the chances-- two additions to the "Triple/Identical Number Sequences" pattern-cluster ... and not to mention the twin "66" in the year of his birth and the twin "44" in the days remaining in the year.
