David Whitehouse RIIP and Carl Zeiss Connection

On February 17th the Deaths in 2013 site records the following:
David Whitehouse, 71, British-born American museum executive (The Corning Museum of Glass), cancer.[27]
Note the following from his wiki page:
  • David Bryn Whitehouse (15 October 1941 – 17 February 2013) was a British archaeologist and Senior Scholar of the Corning Museum of Glass.
  • He was educated at Catshill First School[2]
  • In October 1975, he married Elizabeth-Anne Ollemans [6]
At the bottom of the Corning Ware wiki page (Here) was the following link:Heat-Resistant Glass at Bookrags.com , which provided the following:

Glass, Heat-ResistantDuring the twentieth century, heat-resistant borosilicate glass replaced more fragile flint or soda-lime glass. Although German optician Carl Zeiss (1816-1888) began experiments with heat-resistant glass ...

So, note the name Carl Zeiss and the "Z" within.  On going t Zeiss' wiki page I noted the following:
Carl Zeiss (11 September 1816 – 3 December 1888) was a German maker ofoptical instruments
Note his birth day-- September 11 (aka 9/11)!!  Keep in mind that after 9/11, there are  111 days left in the year... and note his year of death-- the triple 888.  I'm also shocked by the portrait of Zeiss, I remember seeing it before, so going to the search box at the top of my blog, I  keyed in "Zeiss", which brought up my post dated February 12 entitled, September 11 Attacks and TWIN ZEE's.   Apparently his name had cropped up while investigating notable individuals who were born  or who had died on 9/11, butt only of those who had a "z" in their name.
