Sir Thomas Browne Synchro-RIIP

That Charlie Brown's dog Snoopy is included among yesterday's "flying aces" cluster synchronicity, is strange, butt then who am I to question the strategy of the inner twin world?!

So with that in mind, I continued to sniff along the Snoopy trail... to his wiki page (Here), note:
Many of Peanuts' memorable moments come in Snoopy's efforts as a novelist: his eternal opener on the typewriter "It was a dark and stormy night..." is taken from Edward George Bulwer-Lytton's 1830 novel Paul Clifford.
It seems that Clifford, Snoopy and I share a similar "dark and stormy night".  Note the following excerpts taken from Paul Clifford's wiki page (Here):
...it contains one of the most widely known openings in English literary history: "It was a dark and stormy night."
Because of its Romantic qualities, it has likewise become a textbook example of purple prose.
That "purple prose" had cropped up is meaningful given that it fits into the "color" cluster synchronicity category that has been so prominent in the last few posts.  Hmmm ... a purple rose.   It's also interesting to note that lesbians tend to gravitate to the color purple... as well as purple iris'.
Note the following taken from the Purple Prose wiki page (Here)
Purple prose is a term of literary criticism used to describe passages, or sometimes entire literary works, written in prose so extravagant, ornate, or flowery as to break the flow and draw attention to itself.
A frequently cited example of purple prose is the penultimate paragraph of The Garden of Cyrus by Sir Thomas Browne (1605–1682), first published in 1658
Thomas Browne with his wife Dorothy,
by Joan Carlile, circa 1641-1650. From
the National Portrait Gallery, London
collection.
OK,  another color to add to the cluster... not to mention another BROWNE!!  And note as well, the etymology of the name Thomas is "twin".   Note these two excerpts taken from his wiki page
Sir Thomas Browne (19 October 1605 – 19 October 1682) was an English author of varied works which reveal his wide learning in diverse fields including medicine, religion, science and the esoteric
Sir Thomas Browne died on 19 October 1682, his 77th birthday.
So what are the chances of Sir Thomas Browne dying on his birthday... and note as well, his wife's name was Dorothy.  A number of notable deaths have occurred on their birthdays, and the name Dorothy has been featured as of late in recent synchro-posts... not to mention as well, that we gay's, "friends of Dorothy", relate to the wizard of Oz's Dorothy... butt why, THAT is the proverbial question.

As you can see, where ever I'm guided, synchronicities keep cropping up.  It has become more than obvious to me that my inner twin "Tou" has a strong influence over my thoughts and actions... and to tell you the truth, I'm not in the slightest bit aware-- the interaction is flawless.  They feel like "my" thoughts and "my" actions, but the evidence is there to support the fact that things aren't as they seem.

  1. According to the psychologist C.G.Jung who coined the term, synchronicity occurs when the archetypes are activated. Browne himself also has a number of interesting things to say about coincidence and 'predicted' he would die on his b. day.

  2. Carl Jung didn't have the advantage that we have today. He wasn't aware of "Tetragametic Chimera's". within the human population. What we have long considered to be "our" subconscious, is that of our "inner twin". Synchronicity is generated by our inner twin's uncanny ability to influence our thoughts and actions without our being aware. Via this means, they can at this point in time, reveal themselves more clearly, as well as communicate to us in our outer world.

  4. C.G.Jung had the advantage of having far greater insight into the psyche than ourselves, how he would laugh at the concept of 'tetragametic chimera's'. He also recognised the infinite capacity humans have for self-delusion ! Coincidence is only meaningful to the person to whom it occurs. There's a real danger of becoming seriously delusional in attributing all the many 'significant' and 'profound' coincidences one discerns in one's perception of life as being of great significance to humanity. 'Inner Twin' is of course another definition of the unconscious psyche.

  5. Jung had a lot invested in his own concepts, and so his laughing is probable, given that this is a typical knee jerk reaction to new evidence that if it comes forward, will rock our world. Some still laugh at Darwin's 'evolution of the species', but the greater majority today know that the laughter is due to ignorance, fear and having invested too heavily in preconceived concepts that scientific evidence refutes.

As to the 'inner twin' being another definition of the unconscious psyche-- No, not in the general populations 'preconceived" sense. The unconscious is actually the conscious mind of our inner twin. The "inner twin", is a twin that during the earlier stage of gestation had become absorbed and/or conjoined with the other/outer twin (us) in such a way that we appear to be a single person. Genetic research have opened a door. My blogs entail further research that opens that door further.

Synchronicity is generated by the inner twin and their world and used as a means to "Come out" and "Communicate" to us, and at this point in time we now have a greater propensity to understand the truth... at least for those of us who aren't afraid to put aside preconceived concepts, such as those put forth by Jung, when the hard evidence is out there.

  6. O well that's alright then, I can see where you're coming from now with your favourite books. There's a lot of interesting alchemical imagery involving twins, nor overlooking the greek myth of Gemini. It must be quite exciting discovering so many hidden connections between people and events, there certainly are lots of examples of the laws of space and time being totally contradicted at odds beyond comprehension in occurrences in many lives. 'Hard evidence' and 'Truth' are such ultimately subjective factors. It's good to explore the psyche's content, just don't end up like Narcissus or Icarus !

I agree, it's how to make sense and understand coincidence, and I still maintain from a Jungian perspective, that it's when the archetypes are activated that coincidences multiply. THe most common archetype being of course, the other, or anima, all we project unconsciously onto another, object of/beloved.

  7. The majority of synchronicities recorded in this blog involve the death of notable persons. Inner twins have sacrificed their lives, and in the process, the outer twin dies with them. I fail to see the excitement.
I am able to uncover synchronicity because I simply follow the leads-- the trail of hard evidence that was planted by the inner twin world.
