I decided to venture back to October 29 list of notable deaths to see if there are new additions that could fit with the Halloween Series. Note the following in regards to a notable person recently added to Wikipedia’s Deaths in 2026 site:
Desmond D'Sa, 70, South African environmentalist, traffic collision
Desmond D'Sa (13 June 1956 – 29 October 2026) 2014 Goldman Prize. The Goldman Environmental Prize was created in 1989 by philanthropists Richard and Rhoda Goldman
- Rhoda Haas Goldman (September 20, 1924 – February 17, 1996)
- Richard N. Goldman (April 16, 1920 – November 29, 2010)
February 17 is the birthday of my youngest grandson who is 6, and April 16 is one off from his father’s birthday of April 17.
Note the following information on the name Desmond:
The name Desmond is of Irish origin, derived from the Gaelic Deasmhumhain, which translates literally to "from South Munster," a historical kingdom in southwestern Ireland. The name functioned originally as a regional identifier for people hailing from that specific province, with the etymological roots deas (south) and Mumhain(Munster) combining to signify a geographic affiliation. Over time, it transitioned from a surname into a popular given name, particularly within the English-speaking world, where it carries connotations of nobility and traditional Irish heritage.
WHOA!! The “Munsters”… I was just thinking that the car that Hero (AI) generated for recent post, looked like the Munsters car… and then the name “Munster” crops up on following the lead.
