Wikipedias Deaths in 2024 site lists:
- Ruth Hesse (18 September 1936 – 13 July 2024) 87, mezzo-soprano. Truth rut
- Jibril Isa Diso (22 April 1955 – 12 July 2024) 69, academic. Disco.
The name Ruth is an addition to the “Add a Letter Makes a Word” pattern cluster as well as “Remove a Letter Makes a Word” pattern cluster…, hence making “truth” and “rut”. Indeed there is a big dilemma aka “rut” in the “truth, … and in more ways than one !! The surname Diso makes “disco”,… that reminds me of the following from my previous post:
Her surname makes “Piano” when the “s” is removed. So there’s a theme in the works— disco piano. This is a prompt to investigate disco music that has piano. On googling, I discover that the most famous disco song is “
September”… interesting considering Ruth’s birthday is September.
My favourite disco music is played by the Bee Gee’s, so considering this a prompt, let’s investigate the oldest and only living Gibb:
Sir Barry Alan Crompton Gibb (born 1 September 1946[6][7]) is a British musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. Along with his younger twin brothers, Robin and Maurice, he rose to worldwide fame as a member of the Bee Gees
WHOA, he was born on September 1st!!! Another addition to the 1st day pattern cluster.
Robin Hugh Gibb (22 December 1949 – 20 May 2012)
His birthday also stands out, given my recent July 11th post re Professor Peter Scotch who died on December 22, 2022.
If you investigate Ruth Hesse’s wiki page, you’ll find amazing 18th and 8th day pattern clusters. I looked back through recent deaths and found the following:
Interesting, the “mouth” given that Ruth was a singer… as are the Gibb brothers. Also, I just realized that the Bee Gee’s have a song called first of May … aka May won/one.
Update July 14, 2024:
As a further, re the name Robin, I met someone yesterday in the lobby and we introduced ourselves— “I’m May, … as in the month”, I said,
“I’m Robin as in the bird”, she replied,… “… and with a “y””.
Okay,… so many years ago I would have seen this as just a little coincidence,… if I saw it at all, butt today, these little things are meaningful pattern clusters. On investigating the wiki pages of the two names Robyn and Robin, only one was born or died in a year having 3 identical/consecutive numbers:
- Sir Robin Day (1923–2000), British political commentator and journalist
- Sir Robin Day (24 October 1923 – 6 August 2000) day
One notable person mentioned on Day’s wiki page stands out:
Kenneth Mackenzie Clark, Baron Clark (13 July 1903 – 21 May 1983)lark
His birthday was yesterday, and so addition to the “Off by One” pattern cluster and “Timely” pattern cluster.
- Dick Taverne (born 18 October 1928)tavern
- Ernest Wiseman (27 November 1925 – 21 March 1999) earnest wise man
- Sir John William Frederic Nott (born 1 February 1932)not
- Richard Lewis Clutterbuck (22 November 1917 – 6 January 1998) clutter buck
As for the name Robyn, two stood out:
June 13 is my birthday and January 19 is my brothers.
