Bridging the June 18 gap using the formula as per usual, we arrive at: 

• 2000 – Nancy Marchand, American actress (b. 1928)
•  Nancy Lou Marchand (June 19, 1928^[1] – June 18, 2000). March and arch/ark/bend

Wow, two birds with one stone:

A prompt for us to consider the “Off By One” pattern cluster prompt, to the two immediately listed below and above Nancy Marchand: 

• 1998 – Felix Knight ( November 1, 1908 – June 18, 1998) actor and tenor (knight night)
• 2003 – Larry Doby (December 13, 1923 – June 18, 2003) baseball player and manager

My car crash of 2000 occurred on December 13.  

As for Tomcraft’s birth surname, note the etymology: 

Bruckner, Brueckner or Brückner (German: from Middle Low German brugge or Middle High German brugge brücke brügge "bridge" + the agent suffix -ner hence a topographic name for someone living by a bridge an occupational name for a bridge toll collector or in the southeast (Silesia for example) a bridge keeper or repairer) is a surname.
