Left vs Right (Fore!! Part 15)

Continuing on, the cryptic topic from the inner twin world found in my previous post amounts to: “I love to the left” and “sob/sad 9/11”.  When you think of right vs left wing politics during the events of 9/11, I think of who was in power at the time— President of the US was Republican (right wing) George W. Bush . The inner twin world have made it clear then, that their leaning is toward the “left”!!

Note this excerpt from my previous post
  • Oscar Niemeyer Soares Filho (December 15, 1907 – December 5, 2012)

His info reminds me of Walt Disney (and no coincidence that I would remember this):

  •  Walter Elias Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966)

Each birthday is the others deathday... a form of  “opposites”, made that much more meaningful given the previous posts reference to “right” and “left” (politics).  So, we have two additions to the “Opposites Theme” pattern cluster. Even Wikipedia’s site title mentioned in the previous post re: Left-Right Political Spectrum, is part of the cluster not just because of the “right” and “left” aspect, butt in its use of the word “spectrum” ... when considering our English phrase that's used to describe opposites: opposite ends of the spectrum.  The first source brought up by a google search of the word “spectrum” provides us with two definitions, the first being a reference to the band of colours as seen in a rainbow, and then this second definition:

Spectrumused to classify something, or suggest that it can be classified, in terms of its position on a scale between two extreme or opposite points.

"the left or the right of the political spectrum"

WOW!!  The source actually used the Left-Right Political Spectrum as an example.  This is no coincidence, butt yet another strategic design influence, ... an indication that we’re on the “wright” track.   As usually is the case, something has recently occurred in my life to reflect the “right”/“left” opposite, butt not of the political nature so much as the religious (albeit they are linked).  My son in law belongs to the religious right— brought up in the Pentecostal Church, that I consider to be the far “right” of Christianity who along with Baptists, keep the political right wingers well fuelled.  I am against the Pentecostal church as well as the political right ie: conservatives in Canada and republicans in US.  I’m not saying that the left wing politics are 100% right, because some of these leaders are ... well (forgive the religious pun)— wolves in SHEEP’S clothing (hmmm, sheep crops up again).  Hey, I know this because I was there— years ago, shortly after the birth of my daughter I became a “born again Christian” thanks to my new friend who I shared a room with in the hospital (she too had given birth to a daughter).  So inevitably, I said the sinners prayer to alleviate her concerns that without having done so, I would go to hell.  Obviously, I was at a desperate low at that time (I won’t go into those details).  The church I belonged to leaned more to the Pentecostal far right spectrum, and this is where I had problems.  I simply could not buy the extreme distortions— that the bones found in the earth re dinosaurs and evidence of human evolution, were planted there by Satan!!  One thing led to another, and despite the friends that I made there, I left the church (all of them).  I’m not saying that I don’t find some aspects of Christianity pleasing, or many Christians to be progressive — believe in evolution and do not read the bible literally, I simply believe that Jesus (if real) had been just a man with some pretty astounding and advanced ideals for his time... ideals that were so opposed to the powers of his day, that he was killed for it.  He became a martyr and the basis for stories that would raise him up as “God”.

Recently, my son in law brought up that he does not believe in evolution and went on to try and provide evidence that Darwin is “of the devil” (not his exact words, butt something to that effect).  My response was that I don’t care what dirt he has on Darwin (he wasn’t the only one that brought forth the theory), when the proof I regard is found in the scientific evidence in support of evolution — archeological finds and todays DNA evidence, that seals the case in my books.  Of course I’d like to think that my son in law would change, but I don’t hold faith in that— being “born” into the Pentecostal church makes that near impossible, butt then again, who knows.  It bothers me that from my experience, there is a lot of pressure from right wing Christian denominations to put pressure on people like me, believers of evolution, to either change, or “GET OUT” of the church... and out of the family...!!

I googled : religious groups that try to ostracize family members that won't convert, and one of the sources brought up on the first page is the Apostasy Wikipedia page.  Never heard of that word before.  I then googled: far right christian group, Pentacostals, shun non believers, and was brought to a Time Magazine article: I, Too, Was Once a Soldier of the Apocalypse: Why White Evangelicals Must Choose Between Reform and American Extremism, that had some pretty interesting things to say, notably this excerpt that provides a lead:

You should shun Procter & Gamble products because there was a hidden 666, the mark of the beast, inside the company logo.
