Squinty Gillman (Part 66: Kitten Heels aka Training Heels)

Continuing on from my previous post, note the following information from the “Kitten Heels” wiki page:

  • Further, kitten heels are also worn by teenagers, who may be considered too young for high heels.
Oz’s Dorothy Gale was a young teen— 16, played by actress Judy Garland who was 17 at the time, so “Kitten Heels”, referred to as “training heels”, would have been “appropriate”!!  But according to the facts, Kitten heels came out in the 50’s, and the film, film The Wizard of Oz was released
Release date
  • August 25, 1939

August 25th is also the birthday of my granddaughter Addisyn, she’ll turn 13 this year.

So I googled : are the ruby slippers kitten stiletto heels, and the following was brought up:
Results 1 - 7 of 40 — Marks And Spencer Red Suede Kitten Heel Shoes Bow 4.5 4 1/2 Dorothy Ruby Slipper. £ 12.00 ... Red Glitter Ruby Slippers

And so there you have it, all major points included: Kitten Heel Shoe, bow, Dorothy and Ruby Slippers... AND we have our next lead: Marks and Spencer.  Note from the Marks and Spencer wikipedia page:

headquarters of M&S had been since 1957 at Michael House, 55 Baker Street, London.

Do note the twin 55 and the “Bake” in the address... a very meaningful albeit cryptic communication, which you’d know as well if you learned the language!!  The first three notable persons mentioned on the M&S wiki page to stand out are:

  • Lord Burns (Terence Burns born 13 March 1944)
  • Sir Philip Nigel Ross Green (born 15 March 1952)
  • Stuart Alan Ransom Rose (born 17 March 1949)
Burns birthday is an addition to the “Timely” pattern cluster given that TODAY is his birthday!!  And with the two following we now have a “March 13(x2), 15, 17/Uneven Day, Date Sequence” pattern cluster in the works.  These next three M&S notables stand out as well:
  • Archibald John Norman (born 1 May 1954) present Senior Manager
  • Sir John Barran, 1st Baronet (3 August 1821 – 3 May 1905)
  • Israel Moses Sieff, Baron Sieff (4 May 1889 – 14 February 1972
A “May 1, __, 3, 4/Date Sequence” pattern cluster... and meaningful as well because my name is May ... and so generating cryptic “May won” and “for May” ... from “May 1” and “4 May” respectively.  Keep in mind that May 5 is 5/5.  Note the following info regarding the rest of the M&S notables:
  • Michael Marks (June 1859 – 31 December 1907) founder
  • Thomas Spencer  (7 November 1851 – 25 July 1905) founder
  • Steve Rowe (chief exec)
  • Marc Bolland (born 28 March 1959)
  • Simon Marks (9 July 18888 December 1964)
  • John Joseph Salisse  (24 March 1926 − 26 September 2006 )
  • Marcus Joseph Sieff  (2 July 1913 – 23 February 2001
  • Sir Peter John Westmacott  (born 23 December 1950)
  • Sir Richard Greenbury (31 July 1936 – 27 September 2017)
  • George William Davies (born 29 October 1941)
  • Derek George Rayner (30 March 1926 – 26 June 1998)
  • Paul Myners (born 1 April 1948)
  • Robert William Ashburnham Swannell  (born November 1950)

Eash add to the cryptic communication... and note the “March 24, __, 28, 30/ Even Day, Date Sequence” pattern cluster.   The names tell a story... if you care to hear, continuing on from the one in recent posts— note for instands the Surname “Bolland”... a cryptic “bol land” ... the inner twin world have a tendency for combining French and English— bol is French for “bowl”... so “bowl land”, and if you key “bowl” in this blogs search box you’ll find the hidden/deeper meaning.  The name “Archibald” with it’s “arc/arch” adds to the communication... as does the “North man” in his surname.  And yes, the Northern hemisphere... aka the North American Plate and the Eurasian Plate are “popping” /rebounding back up to their normal “bowl”/“arch” shape.  And even the name Moses fits in... guess how?!

Coming back now to Kitten Heels, Note the following nformation from the “Kitten Heels” wiki page:

kitten heel is a short stiletto heel, 1" high with a slight curve setting the heel in from the back edge of the shoe. The style was popularized by Audrey Hepburn,[1] and recent followers of the fashion include Theresa MayMichelle Obama, and Hillary Clinton

Anyone care to investigate the leads!?
