Squinty Gillman (Part 11: Jack ASS!!)

Continuing on from my earlier post today, Squinty Gillman (Part 9: WikiSeeks), lets venture back to  this excerpt:

 the Gus (name) wiki page

On the Gus (name) wiki page is also a film that we need to investigate, note the following cast/crew who stand out the most:

Gus (1976 film)

    • Don Nelson (January 20, 1927 – September 10, 2013) screen writer
    • Johnny Unitas (May 7, 1933 – September 11, 2002) American football quarterback plays himself
    • Harold Gould  (December 10, 1923 – September 11, 2010) as Charles Gwynn
    • Richard Kiel (September 13, 1939 – September 10, 2014) as Tall Man
    • George Putnam (July 14, 1914 – September 12, 2008) as TV Interviewer
    • Don Knotts (July 21, 1924 – February 24, 2006) as Coach Venner
    • Larry McCormick (February 3, 1933 – August 27, 2004)as N.Y. Broadcaster
    • Danny Wells (Jack Westelman April 7, 1941 – November 28, 2013)as Referee
    • Jack Manning (born Jack Wilson Marks, June 3, 1916 – August 31, 2009)as Mayor
    • James Brown (22 March 1920 – 11 April 1992) as Mammoth Coach
    • Jeanne Bates (May 21, 1918 – November 28, 2007) as Nurse
    • Dick Enberg  (January 9, 1935 – December 21, 2017)as Atoms' Announcer
    • Stu Nahan (June 23, 1926 – December 26, 2007) as L.A. Sportscaster
    • Ronald William Miller (April 17, 1933 – February 9, 2019)
    • Ted Key (born Theodore KeyserAugust 25, 1912 – May 3, 2008)
    • Frank Van Tuyl Phillips (April 7, 1912 – April 12, 1994)

Hard to beat that one— “September 10(x2), 11(x2), 12, 13/Date Sequence” pattern cluster.  And note one of the cast is Don Knotts, meaningful and “timely” given that he’s mentioned in my  recent  January 17 post, Squinty Gillman (Part 3: Squinty Fishy) , note this excerpt:

When thinking of  the “Fish theme” and “squinty”, what comes to mind is a movie I saw as a kid, The incredible Mr. Limpet, where actor Don Knots turns into a fish, who at some point looses his glasses ... and so a “squinty fish” :

Note as well, above johnny Unitas birthday is an addition to the cluster last updated in part 10 of this series of posts:
  • August Wicke (May 7, 1885 – January 3, 1947) as "Gus Wickie"
  • Robert Everett Coyle (May 6, 1930 – May 7, 2012)
  • John Stuart Mill (May 20, 1806 – Ma 7, 1873)
  • August Joseph "Gus" Williams, Jr. (May 7, 1888 – April 16, 1964)
  • David Russell "Gus" Bell Jr. (November 15, 1928 – May 7,1995) outfielder Major League Baseball
  • Alasdair Whittle  (born 7 May 1949
And so the cluster expands into a “May 7(x7)” pattern cluster
