My previous post mentions a German family that my family had stayed with when my Air Force father was transferred to Germany when I was about 3 years old. The name of the family was Offenwasser, and I just note that it translates into “open water”... hmm, my surname is Ocean ... “open ocean”.
When I tried googling the name, only Offenhauser was brought up, and in particular, the Offenhauser racing engine developed by Fred Offenhauser. Note from Fred’s Wikipedia page:
Fred H. Offenhauser, Jr. (November 11, 1888 – August 17, 1973)
What are the chances of that?! Especially considering the following from my recent November 11th post, Brillince From Within:
- Elizabeth Gooking Greenleaf (November 11, 1681 – November 11, 1762) first female apothecary in the Thirteen Colonies.
Note the first, Elizabeth Greenleaf not only died on her birthday, butt TODAY is November 11th... Remembrance Day!! This makes her an addition to the “Timely” pattern cluster and generating a “November 11(x3)” pattern cluster
And so the cluster expands: “November 11(x4)” pattern cluster
