Bats 3!!!

The Deaths in 2020 site lists under May 17:
Ken Retzer, 86, American baseball player (Washington Senators)
Given the recent “Baseball/Bats Theme of my May 16 and 17 posts, a baseball player passing away on the 17th is a twin heads upp.  Note from his wikipedia page:
  • Kenneth Leo Retzer (April 30, 1934 – May 17, 2020)
Note from his wikipedia page:
So we now have a “US President Theme” pattern cluster in the works.  Not to mention two presidents who are meaningful given the following:
  • Thomas Jefferson(April 13, 1743 – July 4, 1826)
  • George Washington (February 22, 1732[b] – December 14, 1799)
My grandson’s birthday is February 22; my sisters birthday is December 14..., ans as for Jefferson, simply read the Header of this blog.

Note the following info regardingone of the notable persons mentioned on the Jefferson City wikipedia page in the history section:
  • Jacques Marquette S.J. (June 1, 1637 – May 18, 1675)
TODAY is the anniversary of his death!!  An addition to the “Timely” pattern cluster.
  • Nathaniel Lyon (July 14, 1818 – August 10, 1861)
  • Antoine de la Mothe (March 5, 1658 – October 16, 1730)
  • Louis Jolliet (September 21, 1645 – after May 1700)
  • René-Robert Cavelier (November 22, 1643 – March 19, 1687)
  • Charles L. "SonnyListon (c. 1930 – c. December 30, 1970
  • James Earl Ray (March 10, 1928 – April 23, 1998)
  • Charles Arthur Floyd (February 3, 1904 – October 22, 1934)
  • William Henry Rand (May 2, 1828 – June 20, 1915)
  • Andrew McNally (1836 – 7 May 1904)
As to the notable persons from Jefferson City Re List of people from Jefferson City:
Do note the “am le cure” in Sam LeCure’s name.  And his date of birth has personal meaning given the cryptic “for May” (4 May)... and the fact that my name is May!!  A “May 4, __, July 4(x3), August 4(x2)/ 4th Day, Month Sequence” pattern cluster in the works.  The second August 4th is the birthday of previous US President Barrack Obama.  Bridging the June 4 gap, we venture to the days wiki page... and among the few baseball players, one stands out:
Donald William Zimmer (January 17, 1931 – June 4, 2014)
He stood out given his birthday is an addition to a cluster generated also by the birthdays of some of my close family members:
  • Chris January 15, 1979 (son)
  • Erin January 21, 1981 (daughter)
  • Cathy January 15, 1957 (life partner)
  • Manny January 23 (grandson)
  • John January 19, 1955 (brother)
Zimmer’s Birthday bridging the January 17 gap re:
  • “January 15(x2), 17, 19, 21, 23/Uneven Day, Date Sequence” pattern cluster
