Last night I couldn’t sleep so ...
I started thinking about recent posts and in particular the
“Bird/Fowl Theme” pattern cluster, which reminded me of my March 23, 2016 post,
Bob Ebeling RIIP (Part 3): Grave Robbers and My Little Duckaroo. It bothered me knowing that the Notable Deaths Section of the February 22nd page, included the director
Chuck Jones, and not the other two key figures involved in
My Little Duckaroo (cartoon):
My Little Duckaroo: a 1954 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies theatrical cartoon short produced by Edward Selzer and starring Daffy Duckand Porky Pig. It was directed by Chuck Jones and written by Michael Maltese.
The Director, Producer, and Writer of the cartoon had died on February 22:
- Charles Martin Jones (September 21, 1912 – February 22, 2002)
- Edward Selzer (January 12, 1893 – February 22, 1970)
- Michael Maltese (February 6, 1908 – February 22,1981)
When I saw the cluster for the first time, my immediate thought was that they must have been in an accident together ie: car or plane... until I realized that they each passed away during a different year. Shortly after the discovery, I added it to this Blogs Header. As well, the 2016 post reveals another piece of evidence:
their dates of death are additions to the "Targeting Family Birthdays" pattern-cluster, given that my grandson's birthday is February 22nd. My grandson who is 2 years old will turn 8 on 2/22/22. Sequence's of 2's are a particular inner twin trade mark signature.
So finally, I put myself to the task of learning how to edit a Wikipedia page. As it turns out, I did edit the page to include Selzer and Maltese as well, AND and I received a confirmation email:
