My last post, The KKKK Willies, written over a week ago includes this excerpt:
My article and cartoon was not favourable to Mike. Note from his wiki page:
Today is May 23rd, the day of the year where 222 days remain, and since sequences of 2’s are a particular inner twin trade mark signature, I’ll be keeping my senses honed.Prior to this post (1st in a series) that I began a few days ago, there were several other posts in the works, each usurped by a “more important” subject that cropped up. This one however, is by far the most meaningful to me personally. It began while perusing the May 23rd list on Wikipedia’s Deaths in 2019 site, looking for recent additions... when I came to:
- Mike Laffin, 101, Canadian politician, MLA for Cape Breton Centre (1963–1974, 1981–1988)

Note this article from his obituary:
- Michael A. Laffin (January 12, 1918 – May 23, 2019)
On June 17, 1944, after 22 missions, his plane was shot down over the Netherlands. Mike was captured and sent to a prisoner of war camp. In January of 1945, the allied prisoners were ordered to leave the camp and in one of the harshest winters ever, began what became known as the Long March, walking 250 km from eastern Poland to Berlin.Note the following info on the 3 notable persons mentioned on his wiki page: On his wiki page
Some of the dates stand out. For one, August 8th is also the birthday of my ex-husband (also not a person I speak fondly of). MacEachern’s date of death is meaningful... given my step granddaughters birthday of June 12, my birthday of June 13, and US President Donald Trump’s Birthday of June 14, and of course the date of June 17 mentioned in Laffin’s obituary, all of which generates a “June 12, 13, 14, 15, __, 17/Date Sequence” pattern cluster.
- Michael James MacDonald (August 8, 1909 – July 3, 1997)
- James "Buddy" MacEachern (June 29, 1940 – June 15, 2018)
- John Wayne "Buzzy" Connors (born January 30, 1936)
