Who’s Laffin... Not Toogood’s (Part 5)

The Deaths in 2019 lists under June 5:
A surname like that begs further investigation
Peter Alfred Toogood (11 April 1930 – 5 June 2019)
Note from his wiki page:
Earlier in 1954 he reached the last-16 of the Amateur Championship before losing to Joe Carr at the 20th hole
The surname Carr caught my eye... given the following my recent June 3 post, Who’s Laffin... Not Carr’s (Part 3):
Since the inner twin world tend to generate clusters in groups of 3 or more, when a cluster of 2 crops up this is a prompt to seek out the third... or more, so venturing to the “Carr Surname” wiki page, I limit my search to investigating only the “Williams”... given the recent and prolific “William/Wilkes...” pattern cluster... not to mention the fact that the first initial is “W”... a cryptic “double you”
So lets check out Joe Carr’s wiki page:
Joseph Benedict Carr (22 February 1922 – 3 June 2004)
For one, we have another addition to the “June 3” pattern cluster... AND, the post mentioned above was made on June 3!! His date of birth is also the birthday of the older of my 2 grandsons, who when he turns 8, the date will be 2/22/22... an addition to the “Identical Number Sequence” pattern cluster... and as I often claim— sequences of 2’s are a particular inner twin trade mark signature.

The reason I decided to investigate Toogood, is because his surname breaks down into a phrase, “too good”... and a cryptic “Tou good” (see my previous blog “Toumai”, named such because its a cryptic combination of my name May, and my inner twin Tou... and because it’s an African word meaning “Hope For Life”, the last post in the blog, 2012, has an interesting title considering the above post excerpt — 3 Williams, Deaths Comes in threes.

Two other notable persons are mentioned on Toogood’s wiki page, note their info:
  • Sir Robert James Charles  (born 14 March 1936)
  • Alfred Toogood, Sr. (1872 – July 1928)
Because Alfred doesn’t have birth/death info provided, this is a prompt to investigate him further, and so leading to :
Toogood lived at Eddington Road in the village of St Helens, located on the eastern side of the Isle of Wight.
Another “wide island” (see previous post)... and an addition to the “Add a Letter Makes a Word” pattern cluster — Wight becomes “wright”... if you key this word in the search box of this blog you’ll discover a cryptic/hidden meaning to “wright”.  Note from the Islands wiki page:
The Isle of Wight (/wt/; also referred to informally as The Island or abbreviated to IoW)
It’s actually pronounces as “wait”... and the abbreviation looks like “low”... with a focus on “W” (aka “double you”!!   Note this excerpt from the Islands wiki page:
We have a William that  “FITZ”!! In more ways than one... and even two and three :
  • William FitzOsbern (c. 1020 – 22 February 1071)
And another William is mentioned as well as three others

  • Alfred the Great ( 'Wise-elf'; between 847 and 849 – 26 October 899)
  • Tostig Godwinson (c. 1026 – 25 September 1066)
  • Harold Godwinson (c. 1022 – 14 October 1066)
  • William I (1028 – 9 September 1087)
