Fats Stormy Weather

Continuing on from my previous post re Thomas “Fats” Waller (May 21, 1904 — December 15, 1943), and dealing first with a film mentioned on his wiki page,  Stormy Weather, I found this member of the cast of particular interest:

• Ada Brown  May 1, 1890 — March 31, 1950) (ad brow)

She’s third in the recent “Brown” pattern cluster.   And her name is an addition to the “Remove a Letter Makes a Word” pattern cluster... making “ad brow”... a cryptic phrase.  Her birthday also contains a cryptic phrase re “May won”... meaningful given my first name is May.  As for her date of death, the anniversary is TOMORROW!!  And note the following other cast who stand out:
