Both died and were born on the same day.  And because  the year of their birth was not a leap year, they were born on the 222nd day of the year... sequences of 2’s are a particular inner twin trade mark.   One of the US Presidents was also born on August 10th... also not a leap year:

• Herbert Clark Hoover (August 10, 1874 – October 20, 1964) lark hover
