Grave Digger

Hot in the Halifax news:
In origin the name Grabher is an occupational name that means “Grave digger”:
  • Grabher: digger of graves, ditches...
  • Grave: Old High German grab"grave, tomb;" Old Norse gröf "cave," Gothic graba "ditch"), from PIE root *ghrebh- (2) "to dig, to scratch, to scrape"
My take: discernment.  Since slogans are  allowed on license plates and innappropriate slogans not allowed, and because Grabher will likely be read as “Grab her”, it would be innappropriate to allow it on a license plate.  Disallowing it will send a clear message on how serious the issue concerning the sexual harassment of women and young girls.  If it were my surname, I would get a shovel, dig a deep grave and bury it.
