This evening Cath was working on a crossword puzzle and one of the questions was "sad, in French". The answer turns out to be "triste"... similar to the name, Trieste, that I had come across in my investigations today. I saw the word "trist" within, and I even still have a tab open with the definition of trist (see at bottom of page). Nothing came up when on keying "trist" into this bogs search box so I hadn't included it in a post. And it's 'audd' that I didn't, given one of its meanings: "sad".
Regardless, the inner twin world influenced things ... and Cath so that it's now brought this back to life, and they have done so for a reason. For one, they're communicating "sad".
So to follow up, I do the next best thing and venture to the Trieste (Disambiguated) wiki page, and I come across just one notable person:
Note from his wiki page:
- Leopoldo Trieste, Italian actor, film director and screenwriter
On his wiki page is a group of directors he worked with, note from their wiki pages:
- Leopoldo Trieste (3 May 1917 – 25 January 2003)
Fellini's birthday stands out due to the following from my previous post:
- Pietro Germi (14 September 1914 – 5 December 1974)
- Francis Ford Coppola (April 7, 1939)
- Giuseppe Tornatore (born 27 May 1956)
- Mario Bava (31 July 1914 – 27 April 1980)
- Tinto Brass (born 26 March 1933)
- Charles Vidor (July 27, 1900 – June 4, 1959)
- René Clément (18 March 1913 – 17 March 1996)
- Federico Fellini (20 January 1920 – 31 October 1993)
And then note from the post before that, Candle & Cradle:
- And so what are the chances... We now have a "January 20(x3)" pattern-cluster
And then note Clement died one day before his March 18 birthday, and so expanding the cluster:
- "March 16, 17(x2), 18(x3)/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.
And note the three dates that fall on the 27... a sad day when you consider the 27 club. Altogether they generate a "April 27, May 27, __, July 27/ 27th Day, Month Sequence" pattern-cluster.
- "March 16, 17(x3), 18(x4)/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.
And then one who just caught my "inner" eye/I:
- 1999 – Georgios Papadopoulos (5 May 1919 – 27 June 1999)169th PM of Greece
- 2000 – Pierre Pflimlin (5 February 1907 – 27 June 2000) PM of France
- 1888 – Antoinette Perry (June 27, 1888 – June 28, 1946) actress and director
And so a "June __, 27, 28, __/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster, and a "February 5, __, April 5, May 5/ 5th Day, Month Sequence" pattern-cluster. And May 5 being 5/5, expands a recent cluster:
- 2009 – Gale Storm (April 5, 1922 – June 27, 2009)American actress
"__, __, 3/3, 4/4(x2), 5/5(x4), 6/6, 7/7, 8/8, 9/9, __, 11/11, __/Day, Month Sequence" pattern-cluster
One of Triest's films stands out:
The White Sheik (1952) as Ivan CavalliIt's an addition to 2 clusters: the "White" pattern cluster ; and the "Leader" pattern-cluster. Note from the wiki page of one of the cast:
Enzo Maggio (10 October 1902 - 13 July 1978) as FuriDo note the character name ... a cryptic "fury". His birthday bridges one of the gaps re:
Note from the wiki pages of other cast/crew:
- "__, __, 3/3, 4/4(x2), 5/5(x4), 6/6, 7/7, 8/8, 9/9, 10/10, 11/11, __/Day, Month Sequence" pattern-cluster
And check out the clusters ie: Flaiano's birthday bridges the gap in the above cluster, expanding it into a :
- Alberto Sordi ( 15 June 1920 – 24 February 2003) as The White Sheik
- Leopoldo Trieste as Ivan Cavalli
- Brunella Bovo (4 March 1932 – 21 February 2017)[as Wanda Giardino Cavalli
- Giulietta Masina (22 February 1921 – 23 March 1994) as Cabiria, La prostituta
- Lilia Landi (born August 24, 1929) as Felga, La zingara del fotoromanzo
- Ernesto Almirante (24 September 1877 - 13 December 1964)as Dottore Fortuna, il regista del fotoromanzo
- Fanny Marchiò (June 1, 1904– September 6, 1980) as Marilena Alba Vellardi
- Federico Fellini (20 January 1920 – 31 October 1993)
- Luigi Rovere (June 30, 1908 – October 20, 1996
- Tullio Pinelli (24 June 1908 – 7 March 2009)
- Ennio Flaiano (5 March 1910 – 20 November 1972)
- Michelangelo Antonioni (29 September 1912 – 30 July 2007),
- Giovanni "Nino" Rota[1] (3 December 1911 – 10 April 1979
- Arturo Gallea (18 September 1895 – 21 September 1959
"February 5, March 5 , April 5, May 5/ 5th Day, Month Sequence" pattern-clusterAnd you can figure out the rest.
